0:42 Yeah, exactly. We would actually know that we chose our representatives and we wouldn't just have to trust the election administrators to, you know, oh, believe me, this is really who won. Just take our word for it. Right, exactly. So I guess that idea that the consent to the government that's in our constitution, you know, we'll just throw that aside too, right? Yeah, you know, there's a lot of throwing aside right now and it's not working for people. Well, you know, the good news in all this, Marley, and I know it's taken a long time. I mean, it seems like this has been going on forever. In fact, we've been reporting on this for quite a while, and the thing was a little disturbing, actually a lot disturbing, when we started looking at all these discrepancies that are going on. You know, the Democrats came out and admitted, and they said, well, if the truth be known, you know, JFK, we did a little shenanigans to get him elected. I'll go, wait a minute. We have been dealing with this for decades, and it's just, I don't know. it's just acceptable?

1:41 Right. Well, I think it's not acceptable anymore. And there was a time when the parties weren't so strongly divided in terms of what their agendas were for the American people and our country, our economy, and all of these issues. But at this point, there's no leeway, really, in terms of election outcome. And both sides are incredibly vested in both the parties and the people in these outcomes. And so it's more important than ever that we have absolutely impeccable results. And like you said, there's so many discrepancies. We've known about this for years. We've been watching it for years. You know, one of my favorite podcasters says, I know 2020 was stolen because I'm not stupid, right?

2:27 Very well said. That's the bottom line. I mean, let's not make it complicated, right? Exactly. Right. So- So the work that realamerica.vote is doing right now, though, is pretty unique because what I've been doing personally as a CEO is meeting for over a year and a half with U.S. attorneys in the Northern District of New York. And we've been working through the many discrepancies we had uncovered in New York and how it lines up in terms of prosecution. Where does the rubber meet the road here in terms of holding election officials accountable What constitutes evidence of criminal election misconduct? And so we think we've stumbled onto the solution and we've run numerous pilot studies and now I've handed to U.S. Attorney John Sarkone in Albany a study that we did on the Mamdani election.

3:22 So the second sentence of the constitution says the people choose the members of Congress and the representatives and the states qualify the voters according to state law. So we just asked the question, and we asked the question of the official election returns provided by the New York City and New York State Boards of Elections. Did they qualify the voters? We took giant samples of voters who voted, and we used private investigators. We used synthetic identity fraud prevention tools to ascertain the actual identity of the individuals. We don't look at the ID. I don't care. We're not looking people up. We're trying to figure out if they exist. What we found, Bill, was extraordinary. 7% of the voters in that election did not exist. 6% of the voters had fake social security numbers that were not issued by SSA. And 10% of the voters did not live anywhere in the New York City boundary from January of 2025 through June of 2026. So these were blatantly unqualified.

4:29 So you're talking roughly a third of the voters? About a quarter. Yep. Just under a quarter. Oh, just under a quarter. Okay. My math is off. I'm sorry. Okay. So one in four. That's incredible. Yeah. So that is felony election misconduct by the New York City and New York State Boards of Elections. You know, you miss a couple here and there. Yeah. What makes it a felony, Marley? Because, you know, you get people like Eric Holder and Barack Obama and others say, well, it's just a couple. It's inconsequential. Well, Eric Holder even went so far to say that election fraud did not exist whatsoever. So he really went over the top. But yet somehow these numbers are, you know, they come up with some sort of acceptable number. You know, what makes it a felony? Is it because it's It's 25%? Is it because it's 5%? Or is it just a felony because it is?

5:25 Well, it starts out as a felony because it is. Then you have to deal with the arguments that are always in the courts, which is, you know, did it actually affect the outcome? Well, we only studied a million of the voters in that election. So there's 1.2 million more voters we didn't even examine. We didn't look at them. And we already exceeded the margin of victory of Zoran Mamdani over Andrew Cuomo in that election in terms of fraud. And this is, again, you know, The president had that incredible presentation in July about penetration of election systems. I agree with everything he said. I don't doubt any of it.

6:06 And I have evidence I've presented to three letter agencies about penetration. But, you know, the issue comes down to what can we prove right now? So I don't know how these voters voted. I don't know how they got in the system. I don't know if it was China. I don't know if it was George Soros. I don't know if it was, you know, Joe Smith. I don't know. But when you think about the system, the election officials are the control agents on the process. They are required constitutionally to make sure that, like I said, the people choose and only those who are qualified under state law are part of that group that chooses. So New York completely ignores And this is their Supreme Court precedent. Actually, it's amazing. Certification of a false tally has been a federal crime since the 1860s. And election officials have gone to federal prison, upheld by the Supreme Court in multiple instances for this crime. The last time the Department of Justice prosecuted someone under this principle was May of 2020, just before the end of election fraud, right?

7:21 Right. Yeah, go figure, right? Exactly. Yeah. Well, that's interesting that here it is. I mean, there's been a track record, but obviously the outcome is worth the risk for them, right? Absolutely. And there's no accountability at this point. That's why our focus is on transparency and auditability and accuracy. because there is no consequence at this point. The election officials don't have to control or protect the system because no one can fix the problem. And it doesn't matter. Again, it's probably China, Iran, Russia, Joe Smith, George Soros, and 10 other people all cheating. I don't even know. It doesn't matter because the people who are standing guard at the gate are sleeping on the watch and they're criminally accountable for that. And there's so much precedent. So, you know, That's the Mamdani thing. You know, right now, RealAmerica.vote actually is doing the exact same study. Uh, Marlene, can you move fast enough before November to be able to find some sort of resolution on the Spencer Pratt vote? What we're going to be able to definitely do, we're going to definitely be able to run a big sample in that election. We're going to be able to bring those returns and those results to Bill Assele, who is the U.S. attorney for the Central District of California. We're going to be able to meet with him. I've met with him twice before. We'll meet with him again and walk through the statutes and all of the information that he needs to understand why what we're bringing him matters.

Now, ballots start getting mailed out in three weeks. So the timing is incredibly tight. But we see these battles all over the country, these last minute battles, right? The Supreme Court just ruled in Missouri that they're going to hold on the new map. They're going to force Missouri to use the old map. So, you know, the Republicans lost a seat. There's a new injunction. And then another, you know, more and more injunctions in the mail-in ballot cases. It looks like that may not fly. But there is so much litigation right now. And there's no reason we can't do one more. I mean, we have, otherwise, think about living in LA right now. And you have the choice between a disaster and a disaster on the ballot. That's it.

15:45 And those are your only choices. And you're supposed to accept that because they didn't want Spencer Pratt making those videos for six months ahead of the midterm and getting like getting 10 and 20 and maybe, who knows, 100 million views on those videos showing American citizens what the Democrat Party is about right now. Marley, is there a movement amongst attorney generals, particularly in these blue states, where they want to be genuine and do something on behalf of the American people to make sure that their vote counts? Are they starting to move in that direction, or are they still resistant and ideologically fixed?

16:28 Yeah, they're totally resistant and ideologically fixed. In fact, speaking from a constitutional perspective, they have been violating law left and right, violating rights, actually, violating constitutional rights left and right. And there's two major ways that they've been doing this, particularly in blue states. First of all, the DOJ has been trying to get the voter roll databases from these states with the social security numbers and driver's license numbers of the voters intact. And the states have been claiming that the elections clause gives them the right to withhold a federal document from the federal government. And additionally, I'm sure you know, you realize why Madison and so many of the founders argued so vehemently to have two governments They have a dual kind of citizenship so that if one government screws you, you can go to the other one for help. And they are completely abandoning that principle and saying, no, the federal government, the Department of Justice has no right to vindicate the voting rights of American citizens.

17:34 That's a state job, which is insane. That means that the states can literally and this, you know, Let's think about this for just a second. Go back to the Mamdani study. 7% of the voters that were certified in that election do not exist. We know this is happening. It's not just the mayoral election. It's happening in statewide elections. New York State is apportioning congressional representation to to people who do not exist. This is not an oopsie, and this is not a minor thing. This is actually a rogue action. This is the betrayal of the union. There is a provision in the 14th Amendment to actually do something about this. But no, no, they're not coming into alignment.

18:23 And then, of course, the other way that they're doing, violating civil and constitutional rights about elections is that they go after people like myself, you know, We have a lawsuit right now in Albany, in the Northern District, in federal court, where we're proceeding. We got through standing on a First Amendment retaliation case against Letitia James and the New York State Board of Elections. And the judge said they have to appear in their personal capacity. She was appalled by the way they came after citizens who just wanted to know if the election returns were fair and accurate. And, you know, so that's the other thing they're doing. They're doing it all over the place. They terrorize you if you question them.

19:04 Exactly. Molly Hornick, by the way, just so you understand this, ladies and gentlemen, she's a constitutional election law expert. So this isn't opining. You know, she knows what she's talking about. She's been spending decades on behalf of the American people. to make sure that our elections are legitimate, that we don't continue what's been going on for decades. Yes, 2020 was a big revelation, but it's like, You know, this has to stop. I mean, you talk about California Judicial Watch did an exam and this has been going on for years going after California. And they found something like three million people on the voter rolls, many of which same case. They didn't exist and move. You know, anybody that's been in marketing knows that roughly 25 percent of the zip code moves every year. okay they have not had an audit in forever they keep everybody on those voting rolls because it gives them those options to manipulate those names and tie them to uh let's just say democratic votes Yep.

20:05 And again, it doesn't it may not even just be one person. It might not be the election officials. It might not be the state. It might not. You know, who knows who the heck is doing it? But we know who is supposed to prevent it. Who has an affirmative constitutional duty to protect the right of American citizens to choose Congress by keeping everybody who is not qualified the hell away from our elections? Right. How? Big of an issue is this being, Marlee, in terms of people's frustration over the legitimacy of the election process. Well, I think this is a breakthrough approach, actually, because we've chosen a really simple constitutional principle to anchor our claim.

20:47 This was a condition of ratification. It's really easy to prove that the states are abandoning the principle that they agreed to before we signed that constitution. before we ratified, and it's criminal. And there's major precedent. So again, we don't have to solve this matrix. All we have to show is that this foundational right to actually what is a Republican form of government. If the people are not choosing the representatives, we do not have a Republican form of government. And that was the entire purpose of the United States Constitution was to create a Republican form of government. Where the citizens are sovereign over the law.

21:30 Right. So, you know, it's very simple. Well, and as you talk about, you know, we've used this as an example, what happened in Minnesota with Franken, right? And how he got elected with very few votes. I mean, it was just the whole thing was so spurious. But that vote really mattered because what that gave us was Obamacare. Right, and yeah, and these, when you get ideologues into office, when they successfully perpetuate their schemes and people buy the ruse, and you don't ever get what they promised, you actually just get bigger government You get more arrogant administrators who are basically running experiments on live human beings like the transgender mutilization stuff. I mean, that's all that is. It's, you know, it's practically like, you know, an open air Nazi experiment.

22:23 Well, yeah. And here we are, Marlee. How many issues do we deal with today or 90 10 issues? I mean, our country is upside down and everybody's going, what the heck is going on here? How do we get a grip on this constitutional republic once again? Right. Well, I'm happy to say that I'm in Dallas. I'm leaving the Republican convention, which was an incredible event. And people who did not watch Trump's speeches either night, just pick one. If you want to watch the two hour one, that was Thursday or that was Wednesday. If you want to watch the one hour one, that was last night. incredible event, incredible energy, patriotism and love of country in that arena, absolutely packed to the gills with overflow crowds outside.

23:08 And people really got the memo. And, you know, he basically said, look, we didn't get the SAVE Act yet. We don't have any of these controls in place yet. So you have to pretend I'm on the ballot in this midterm. Pretend it's that dire and every single person go out and vote. Don't take the midterm as like, you know, an optional. Right, exactly. Our independence depends on it. Our freedoms depend on it. 30 seconds left, Marlene. How can we help? Well, good to have you here. You were in Dallas. A brilliant idea, again, from Donald Trump to have a midterm convention, the first time ever in the history of the Republican Party, huh?

29:19 Yes, we did. And now you see my background is back on. We had a little technical difficulty right there. The convention was really very interesting, Bill. It was uplifting and exciting and we worked on and we not worked on, but we heard messaging that is it's clear to me we should be talking about it. about and repeating and also it was a bit somber um and sober because on Thursday we had the one year anniversary of Charlie Kirk's assassination and We had an angel family speaking, the parents and sister of Sheridan Gorman, who was murdered in Illinois earlier this year by an illegal immigrant. We had hostages who President Trump freed and parents of one of the hostages whose son did not return alive from Gaza, but his remains were returned. And President Trump made sure his remains were returned. That was just heart wrenching. And then you also heard that we had a beautiful, beautiful tribute to 9-11 and the 25th anniversary of 9-11.

30:32 But that was also sad. So it was it was really good. And also it reminds us of what the stakes are all about in the real life consequences and pain that the wrong decision in November could cause Americans. Yeah. Well, you look at where we are, and, you know, I was looking back through a history of when Democrats were in charge, and there's very little, Jenny Beth, that I can take away and say, I'm sure glad they were in charge during that period of time. Because whether you're talking about Obamacare, you're talking about the ongoing mire of what happened in Afghanistan, certainly the evacuation and how we left there. I mean, this was all done by Democrats and Obamacare and that. I mean, it just goes on and on. And the only time that the Democrats were a bit sober when we were able to do something of consequence goes back to Bill Clinton. And the only reason that happened, and Bill Clinton needs to thank Newt Gingrich and the Republicans for making his presidency. If it hadn't been for Newt Gingrich and the Republicans, you know, Bill Clinton would be an afterthought.

31:43 Well, Bill Clinton was a Democrat the way that we have thought of Democrats most of our lives. He wanted more government, for sure. And he still loved America and wanted what's best for America. Just his view of what is good for the government to do, in my view of what is better left alone by the government, are different. What I can say, and I think this is important, Bill, because on the left right now, we have people who are so driven by absolute hatred of President Trump that they really can't see straight. What I can't see is this. When President Obama got Osama bin Laden, I didn't care who the president was. I just was glad we got Osama bin Laden. And I could champion that no matter who the president was.

32:34 And. When Joe Biden was clearly having memory issues, we held him accountable because he is a president. And we also felt compassion for him because we can imagine ourselves being there or our parents being there or other people we care about being in that same situation. And we don't want to see anyone go through that on such a public stage. So I think it's important for us to remember that we actually we have to keep that human connection and. The left has lost it. They are so driven by their frenzied heat of President Trump that it's led them to hate the country and hate what's best for the country. In addition to hating him and in addition to hating all of his supporters, it's not healthy. It's not healthy for them. It's not healthy for our country. And now they're championing people who hate.

33:28 outright want to shred our Constitution. And I say that confidently because they want to abolish a Senate, abolish a presidency, expand the powers of the House of Representatives, and either abolish or dramatically pack the Supreme Court. You can't do that without destroying our constitutional government. And don't even, that doesn't even get me started into what they think about property rights and taxes and the list goes on and on. Yeah, and these are their words, Jenny Beth. This isn't some pundit opining of some theory. I mean, this is from their lips to our ears. I mean, they're telling you exactly what they want to do. So there should be no surprise here. I mean, whereas Barack Obama talked about hope and change and the fundamental transformation, a lot of people were really excited about that. I guess the people that were socialists, that was code for them. That was a dog whistle. They understood that. But the rest of us thought, well, OK, we're electing the first black president.

34:31 So maybe there's some hope that we would be able to once and for all put racism in the rearview mirror. No, there should be. There should have been from that. But instead, for whatever reason, they use the fact that we elected the first black president as a reason that our country is racist. Some of it doesn't even quite make sense to me. On top of that, Bill, we have a $ 1, 700 tax cut for the average American right now. $ 1, 700. Not a single Democrat in the House or the Senate voted for that. The Democrats, 206, there were two Democrats who voted with Republicans to protect Republicans. women's sports and girls' sports most specifically. 206 Democrats don't want to protect girls' sports in the House side. And on the Senate side, not a single Democrat has voted for it. We support the police and back the badge, if you will. We support the police and law enforcement. It's the, the, the problem is the Bible is a big book, right? It has over 100,000 verses. So if someone is not really, uh, uh, uh, kind of scholarly and really knows it, it's easy to get fooled because you pick up this verse, that verse, and out of context, it may sound like the Bible teaches one thing, but it really, it teaches a lot of things on immigration.

They keep repeating what the Bible says about be kind to the stranger, don't Yeah, treat the stranger really well because you were, and it's talking to the ancient Jewish people, because you were strangers in Egypt and you were in the same situation at one point. Okay, so that's true. But also, that's for people who are willing to meet certain qualifications. So as the Bible also says, in verse after verse after verse, to come into someone else's country and to be their guest or even citizen, you have to obey all the laws. And this is the Old Testament, right? You have to adopt their religion.

45:44 You have to do all your social obligations. Uh, so in other words, you have to keep the, this, you have to keep the same feasts that we keep as ancient Israelites. You got to, uh, pay all the taxes. Uh, and it goes, it goes without saying that you've got to be there with the permission of the people because that's the, that's the law. Right. Uh, and the other thing too, Jim, you know, and even the spaghetti, the old spaghetti Westerns picked up on this too. When a stranger would come to town, they, they say, Hey, are you here to hurt? or to help us, right? Right. Well, that's right.

46:24 So it's like the first thing is, right, are you here peaceably? But secondly, it's not enough just to be here peaceably. You've got to be ready to roll up your sleeves and help build this country. Now, most immigrants, you know, they come to work. But the point is, if you're breaking laws, you're committing identity theft, you know, fake IDs, et cetera. That's not following the biblical teaching at all. That's flouting it. So it's a different matter. Now, we hear about this business of sanctuary cities a lot, right? And you may have heard that that's in the Bible.

47:07 And there is such a thing as sanctuary cities in the Bible, but it means something completely different. So a sanctuary city was a place for, so they had tribal culture there. They were hot-blooded. It was the ancient world. So if someone accidentally kills someone, which, you know, in that world happens not infrequently. They may be having a fist fight and someone lands a sucker punch and someone hits their head on a stone, they're dead. Okay, what does someone do? Sanctuary cities were, I believe, six cities in ancient Israel designated that if you accidentally killed someone.

47:47 You could flee. There, and they were obligated to hold you for trial. Right. Because the risk was that the relatives of the person killed would just kill you immediately out of hand. Right. And instead, the Bible's saying, no, actually, everyone gets a trial. Yes. So you go here. Well, even in the Old Testament teaching, Jim, it was, Even if you did it on purpose, you could run to a sanctuary city and avoid execution because it was the responsibility of the sanctuary city to hold court and determine. Yeah, that's right. So it's like, right, if there was a murder, whatever circumstances, the thing was, what the Bible is saying is we're going to uphold the law. We're going to have a trial. We're going to uphold the law, not just let people take the law in their own hands.

48:43 That was the purpose of sanctuary cities. Now, the modern sanctuary cities, as done by Los Angeles, California, and other places, is to flout, and certain whole states, right, is to flout the law, not to enforce the law. So they've turned sanctuary cities upside down, and it's really, it's kind of gross because. How does it comport with the constitutions? Because basically what you've done is you're setting up a form of government within a form of government. Right. Well, that's right. And so in the Old Testament, where they talk about the sanctuary cities, what they were doing was to enable the biblical law to be enforced. So that was their constitution.

49:32 Yeah, that there was due process. Right. And so in order that the constitution... that they were given could be enforced correctly, they made these cities so someone could go and get a fair trial. So what we're doing in America is trying to, with the sanctuary cities, not we, but people who are doing this, they're trying to overthrow the Constitution of the United States, take the law into their own hands. And this, as we can't ever get tired of saying, the United States Constitution gives the sole authority for immigration and naturalization to the hands of the United States Congress. That's why we at NumbersUSA are always talking about Congress, because what the president does is only to enforce the laws of Congress. He does not make the laws on immigration.

50:24 Nobody can but Congress. I want to complete the circle that you've set up here in sanctuary cities. Unlike what it says in the Bible, there was due process. You came in, you were either innocent or guilty. If you were guilty, then end of story. If you were innocent, you remain there until the ruling priest, the chief priest dies. retired. Then you could go back to your hometown and be justified. However, the sanctuary city in America is, there's no due process. You're there hiding from due process. Exactly. It's upside down, and it's really disrespectful to the Bible and its teaching to say that this is, the Bible is saying that the law does not apply to you because we We are better than the law.

51:18 No. So, and then there's the matter. I want to bring up the matter of what churches say. So churches, of course, there's hundreds of thousands of churches in America. They, a lot of them say different things, but some big churches, uh, I have sent out some confused messaging. So the Catholic church, for example, the bishops, even the Pope had made some statements that could be interpreted as, uh, could be interpreted as, Oh, permissive. on illegal immigration, but you know what? It doesn't actually matter what they say because it would had the Catholic church had no teaching on this, but in the actual catechism of the Catholic church, I mean, this is the doctrine cannot be undone by any Bishop, uh, is it has a paragraph that talks about the rights to leave your country and the rights of countries and the responsibility for the countries who receive immigrants. And it says that everyone who has been mistreated or can't make a living or whatever in their own country should be able to leave their country freely. And it has a little bit of a process there. And then to the concern, which we agree with that, but the concern is, I mean, if you're starving in your country, you can go try to find a better place. But there's a huge, huge catch.

52:46 Someone has to be receiving you. And there's nothing about someone being able just to barge into another country. What it says is. Nations who are wealthy have a responsibility to bring in people who can't make it, who are starving or whatever, to the extent that they can afford to do so. This is the key. It's like the extent... and it says, and these, these, uh, individuals have, uh, if, if the country feels like they can afford to bring them in and does, it says, these people must treat the nation, uh, with respect and obey its laws. So again, so it's actually the same teaching as we're talking about because the Catholic teaching their actual doctrine and the catechism comes right out of the old Testament.

Well, uh, Now, Christian believers in America are often lectured about, you know, what the Bible and their teachers, what they're teaching about immigration. But to your point here, you know, it's like anything. And of course, you know, the apostle Paul warned the churches to be careful of false doctrine. And this is a requirement of the faithful to be discerning and to understand what is going on here. And, uh, you know, and I think that, uh, we're, we're taking an easy way out and looking at it on an emotional basis instead of the way the law would look at it, Jim.

54:22 Well, I mean, the, the overall teaching of scripture is that duties of government is to take care of its people. And, uh, and the, the preamble to the U S constitution says we, the people of the United States in order to promote the general welfare and establish justice. This is the reason we've established this United States government. And so the. Government has the authority, it has the, what we say, legitimacy. The legitimacy, as long as it does those things, right?

55:02 So the Congress- It's legitimacy and also responsibility to ensure that. Right, right. Well, that's right. So it's fortunately, I mean, sometimes, and sometimes it's, it's difficult. Like questions of war and peace are really difficult, right? Cause, cause we're called to be peacemakers, but at the same time with something really unjust is happening overseas. We have to take a look at that. It's difficult, but this matter of immigration is not that difficult because the clear teaching of the Bible is that we are to be kind to strangers. Oh, it's very important. A lot of the teaching about be kind to the strangers, the context is do not have a different law for them.

55:48 In other words, if someone's foreign-born, you can just, you know, you can imprison them without a trial. If someone's foreign-born, you can just kill them. No. No, you have to obey the same laws, but you get treated just as well. You're subject to the same law. Exactly. Right. Well, we're going to leave it there, Jim. As always, I mean, there's no question, this is a bit complex, but I don't think it has to be. And the way you've begun to lay this out here, I think, is something for our listeners to grab a hold of and to decide for themselves what they're hearing from their church and their pastors in the pulpit. Is it truly what the Bible says, or are they just telling you that without, you know, without surety and without, you know, without backup.

One order designated Friday, September the 11th, 2026, as a day of remembrance and service and recognition of the 25th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, right? Well. when mamdani finishes signing the order this is according to gary bauer he hands the ceremonial pen to new york police uh department commissioner jessica tish now elected officials often give the pens they use to sign important documents to others as a way of honoring their work on a particular issue right Well, Mamdani wasn't giving the pen to the police commissioner. He asked Tish to pass the pen on to Ramzi Qasem, who was standing next to her. Now, Qasem happens to be, you know, which is quite interesting because you go, well, why would Mamdani want Qasem to have the pen, right? Well, he's the mayor's chief legal counsel, and the official reason for handing the pen to Qasem is because his office reportedly said, helped to draft the executive orders that Mamdani signed. But no one's buying that explanation,

But what makes it worse is that it's almost like and again, I put this a little bit on George Bush because I think it was mishandled in how they handled this is that I think the people's grief process was blunted because you've got to go through the grief process and they weren't allowed to.

And this is all a timely discussion that we're having right now. It seems that we come back to revisit first principles and these things that have made America so great. People are taking advantage of us, and we need to say enough of this and stop and protect these liberties that we've enjoyed for 250 years, that a million Americans have paid that ultimate price for. I mean, to me, it's so disrespectful to, you know, to just let it go with a whimper, it seems. You know what I mean?

1:13:50 Absolutely. I mean, we can start with recognizing that we don't want people in our country who hate America. We don't want to bring immigrants into our country that are not aligned with the values that have made America great. Exactly. And yet when we open the borders under Biden, all kinds of crazy people came into our country. And now, of course, Trump ran on a platform. One of his primary planks of this platform was the removal of illegal immigrants, all illegal immigrants from the United States. And wouldn't you say he got a mandate for that? Yes, he has a mandate for it.

1:14:30 And so why are people interfering with that mandate for him to clear these illegal... I mean, We have a massive amount of illegals. I mean, they're talking, I mean, the numbers vary depending on who has control of the microphone, you know, eight, 10, 15, 20 million people, you know, under the Biden administration, but less they ignore already, we had 25 million, at least in the country that were illegal to begin with that have been here for decades. And so it's like, look at, you know, something has, has to be done. And they, they've incentivized people to leave the country peacefully and They have given them money even to leave. But still, we've got some bad hombres here who are killing our citizens. And that is unacceptable.

1:15:17 And I don't care. I mean, I'm sorry. You know, when people go out there and they want to get into a combat situation with federal officials and they end up getting hurt because they're being knuckleheads. I mean, come on. You know, that's on them, Scott. Let's be clear. These are not knuckleheads. These are people that are resisting the police, trying to stop the police from doing their job. They're breaking the law, are they not? They're breaking the law. ICE is in the law enforcement business, okay? They have a focused mission to apprehend illegal immigrants that don't have documentation and have no right to be in the country.

1:16:00 That's the job of ICE, right? It stands for Immigration Customs Enforcement. Immigration enforcement is that if you don't, if you're not here legally, you have to leave the country. Trump ran on that platform, got overwhelming support for it on both sides of the aisle, I might add. Democrats too. So, you know, if you pull a gun on a cop, the cop is trained to shoot you first. Right, right. You don't resist arrest by pulling a gun on a police officer. So why do we think about ICE any differently? They're in the law enforcement business. They're like police officers carrying out the law with regard to immigration.

1:16:46 You use a. Vehicle to threaten an ICE officer, you're going to get shot. Right. Right. Yeah. And look at what happened. I mean, look at how injuries have increased during this period of time. you know, on ICE officials that are doing what the American people have called them to do. But the American people need to come out en masse and support this effort instead of, you know, folding to the narrative of the mainstream media and some of these radicals, Scott. Oh, I couldn't agree with you more, Bill. I mean, this is a problem of, you know, of character and the most important quality of character that protects all the other rights is courage. And we have a diminished sense of courage to stand up for what is right.

1:17:43 Well, and this goes back to what you and I talked about. We talked about it with your book and even before then about returning to first principles. If we're going to expect any kind of, by God's grace and mercy, another 250 years of this great American idea, We need to re-embrace those values that really served as a foundation and a launching pad for the superpower that we call America, Scott. Absolutely. It's really, you know, we don't, you know, we have something unique in America that other nations don't have. We have what's known as moral authority. And the moral authority comes from recognizing that people have natural God-given rights that that are not given to them by the government, but rather they exist because God has given us those rights. We're the first nation in all of human history to recognize that people have these God-given rights and that they can't be taken away.

1:18:47 But the thing is, though, the people... themselves, we, the people need to really believe that and fight for it and stand against those forces that would want to take that away from us a la COVID-19. Absolutely. Absolutely. I mean, we, we, we, you know, God is on our side, but we have to, you know, we have to stand up in order for God to protect us and for God to work through us and for God to do his work in our society. He's got to find a few more people with the courage and the conviction of his principles that he can work through.

1:19:29 Well, you just touched on something critical here. And the question is, do you trust God? Of course we trust God. No, well, you say, of course, but I'm saying right now, by and large, you look over the landscape of America today. And if you were to ask people in mass, do you trust God? And you've got too many people today. And now, you know, we're becoming more and more of a 50-50 nation, a nation under God. The other people are under God only knows what. But you ask them, do you trust God? And they go, we don't even know who God is. That's right. Yes. Yeah. Sadly. What? This is what happens when you, you know, when you replace God with false idols and the idols are many fold.

1:20:13 You know, this is what. Americans, you know, there's the economic success, you know, has given people a. Lot of false idols. Yes, exactly. And what we need is a return to the, you know, to worshiping the true God. The God that gives us a sense of meaning and fulfillment in our lives. Yeah, the God that will square away this political divide that we're dealing with right now, whether or not we go the route of socialism or stay on the course that we believe that God has led us on, this capitalistic form of government. So here it is, because what happens is socialism doesn't believe in God. Socialism believes it is God. That's right.

And of course, a lot is being talked about these celebrities with the, you know, Osempic faces or Mongerno faces and bodies and all that sort of thing. You know, this is a bit worrying because it's putting out an example into the culture that could be dangerous for young teens. What do you say? I say that's absolutely what it's doing. Thank you. You know, I grew up in the Y2K era when you heard terms like heroin chic. Like, I think one of the terms that's on social media right now is Y2K skinny.

1:40:22 You heard things like, there was a really famous. Kate Moss saying when I grew up that was, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. And that's the era I grew up in. And it was an era where women, celebrities mostly, were wearing low-rise jeans that showed off their pelvic bones. And your pelvic bone only shows if you're a certain age. you know, level of, I hate saying the word skinny, but yeah, you know, you're only with only people who have a certain physique are going to have their pelvic bone poking out. You know, it was an era where everybody, every female celebrity on the market was wearing belly bearing tops. And, um, We got away from that for a little while. The body positivity movement came and was.

1:41:11 Like, okay, this is really unhealthy. We should not be advertising what is essentially eating disordered behaviors to get to this level of skinny. Exactly. You know, this is not healthy. It's not good for anybody's self-esteem. Let's stop doing this. And, but then, then what happened is we got into the Kardashian era where it was like, okay. Yes, this is slightly healthier, but it's really only achievable through plastic surgery. And then for whatever, and then. Then Ozempic came and GLP-1s and, and now the Y2K skinny trend is back and you have plastic, It seems every single day it's a new celebrity who's walking out.

1:41:55 Who is just waif thin, just so thin. You can't even recognize them, Emily, some of them anymore. And it's so sad. And then biologically what they're doing, because your body, in order to operate, essentially it has to have a certain fat level. And when you are getting below, I believe, 10%, you know, your metabolism, body functions in females start to shut down. You get a lot of complications all for the sake of, you know, having a skinny, distorted, skeletal-type face. You know, and it's really sad because some, now I will say plastic surgery is still very much a thing.

1:42:35 You have women who are, there's like a thing, there's like this little thing in your cheeks that you can literally, it's like a, I don't really know what it is, but you can have it removed to give you that kind of that gaunt look. And it's essentially fat that they're removing from your face. So a lot of celebrities are probably doing that as well. It's not just the weight loss. Um, so you're still dealing with that, but you know, it's men too. You were just talking about body fat percentage. You have men walking out who are, you know, taking GLP ones, taking steroids, and they're trying to get down to this. I think it's an 8% body fat is where that's where you start to like actually show like a six pack. And, but you know, people who achieve that naturally without the help of drugs, will tell you that they don't maintain it. They'll do it for like, they do it for like a week.

1:43:26 Like Hugh Jackman, when he does all those Wolverine movies where all of his muscles are showing, he literally goes, he literally starves himself of water. Like he will dehydrate himself. for three days in order to look that way on camera. And he comes out of it and he's like, it's awful, it's horrible. I only do it because they're paying me to do it. And it's like, and. They only do it for a couple of days and then they go back to being normal. And so it's like, Why are we promoting this to teenagers? And I say it that way because all of these celebrities are posting pictures of their transformations and everything on social media. And the key audience on social media are these impressionable young teenagers. And it's very upsetting to me having.

1:44:18 I. Remember being a teen girl and we didn't have, this was like before social media. I remember looking at magazines, looking at those celebrities and being like, ooh, how do I look like that? And sometimes the magazines would even show you, they'd be like, here's how. To get this body. You know, they'd have the workout routine and the diet and everything listed in their magazine. Well, social media is that times 50,000. Oh, yeah, no doubt about it. Well, you know, I think it's interesting to hear you talk because, Emily, I'm thinking, you know, because we always see before and after, right? But what we don't see is after the after. You know, so like you said, it's a short-term situation. I don't care who it is. Oprah, whatever, you know, it's in some cases, it's a yo-yo situation and they all are touting.

1:45:07 I mean, the kind of stuff that's on line right now, there's all kinds of, you know, formulas of how you can increase the GLP-1 in your own body naturally and all this other stuff. But I'm not hearing any long-term success with this stuff. Well, I won't speak into the long-term success because I'm not a doctor, but what I will speak into is just the fact that like, these different influencers, so maybe not on the celebrity level, but definitely on the influencer level, they will tell you, hey, here's where you can go online right now to purchase this drug, to purchase this steroid, to purchase whatever it is to achieve whatever look.

1:45:51 You're going for. And that's really kind of disturbing to me. It is disturbing that you have these celebrities and influencers who have zero medical background who you know and they're just sitting there and they're like here here's where you can buy this product and it's like why and it's because they get I mean they do it because they. Get money when they do that they get that's how. Influencers make their money but you're like they they have they do not care about their audience when they do that they are saying my money is is more important to me than your physical and mental well-being. And I say mental as well, because. You have these skinny, thin, beautiful people who maybe have achieved that through diet and exercise. But then on top of that, even though they look great, they're like, I'm going to do a GLP-1 anyways.

Very problematic when you have somebody who already looks great, and then they still decide to use a drug or a steroid in order, because even they're not happy with their own appearance. And what kind of message does that send? You see, that's the thing that I'm getting out of this. Pat Riley, years ago, before you were born, he was the coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, wrote a great book. And in his book, it was Showtime, called Showtime. It's about the success the Lakers had, three winning seasons and all this good stuff. I've actually heard of this book. Okay. And one of the things that he stressed was he said the disease of more, you know, that you get into this, that you're never satisfied. You just got to have more and more. Like Michael Jackson, for example, he cut himself up and you're thinking, man, about five surgeries ago, you look great. You know, your nose is like Pinocchio.

1:47:37 I mean, I don't know. I mean, you're really kind of, you've lost that natural, You know, that natural look. And here he was. I mean, he was chasing something. And I thought, wow. And some of these people who've got the money and I guess have the time and they're carving up their bodies in such a way that I mean, at the end of it, I don't know if they're ever really satisfied if they're if their identity itself has been so compromised that they don't even know who they are. That's the thing. And this is where, you know, parents and grandparents and just all the adults in the room, they need to be talking to the kids in the room and they need to be talking to them about their identities. Where is your identity? Where are you placing the importance in your life? You know, quit letting cultural standards define what skinny is and start letting, you know, clinical standards define what is healthy for you. When a celebrity comes out and says, this is the healthiest I've ever been. And they just, They just look like they have, they look like they've been through.

1:48:43 Some traumatic experience because they're so thin. Maybe they are, you know, and I'm going to reference a celebrity here, Ariana Grande. She came out after the Wicked. promotional stuff, she came out very, very thin and people were concerned and they were gossiping about it online, which is not great. I do not think it is okay to gossip about a celebrity no matter what their weight loss situation may be. But she came out, she looked very thin, people were concerned. And so she finally took to social media and she was like, this is the healthiest I've ever been. Quit pointing to pictures of me in the past. And she said, in the past, I was addicted to antidepressants and I was taking them with alcohol.

1:49:27 And it's like, okay, that is good to know that, you know, back then you were not healthy. However, that doesn't mean that you're healthy now either. And I think that's an important distinction to make. It's like, it's great that she's not drinking anymore, but But that doesn't mean that. Her new weight is necessarily healthy. And it's certainly not sending a good message to the young girls who are looking up to her, who are, you know, they see her movies and they see her music and they're like, oh, I love her. I want to look like her. It's like. whatever, even if that is somehow healthy for her body type, then she's of a very rare body type that other young girls cannot achieve through natural means.

1:50:11 And that's the takeaway. Well, and for her, that's her assessment right now. But as we know, and we hear the stories all the time of addictive behavior begets addictive behavior. So you may have exchanged one, you know, One pill for a different type of pill, so to speak. And I'm not saying that's the case for her. I pray that, you know, she's what she said is what she's realizing. And if that's the case, then, you know. You know, maybe maybe things will fill out a little bit for her and and she will be able to, you know, have that that health and well-being that she's looking for.

1:50:54 Yep. And, you know, that's how I feel about all of these celebrities. It makes me so sad that, like, just to think about them on a human level, you know, the disease of more. It's like they are constantly under pressure to lose more weight, to gain more muscle, to look a certain way, to adhere to these standards of beauty that are just not here. It's an inhuman standard that they are being held to, but they are still human beings. And I think we hear constantly about celebrities who are just traumatized by their youths and growing up in the world of Hollywood and how... different it feels from the real world.

1:51:39 And so I really hope that there are that there are. People in their lives, mentors and friends and loved ones who can speak into. Their their lives and say, hey. This isn't healthy. Let's talk about this. And I pray that's the case for them. But, you know, for the parent sitting at home, the non-Hollywood person whose teenage daughter is asking her mom if she can go on a GLP-1, I pray that you have the. I pray that. We will all be given the knowledge and the sympathy to talk to our children and say, you know... this is what our bodies are meant to do. This is how God build our bodies and what they should be capable of.

1:52:28 And when we put them through. These strenuous exercise regimens, diets, when we pump all these drugs into our bodies, it changes our makeup to be something that God never intended for us. And I think it's really important to talk about that with your kids. Well, I, and I think so. And parents may need some counsel on this, Emily. And we need to keep this. I mean, as we are talking here and, and processing this, uh, it's, it's complex. I mean, when you're talking about your own children, I mean, it's, it's tough when you see it with celebrities, but you got to keep an eye because that's that your kids are looking at the celebrities. They're being influenced as you say. So where can they go? Uh, I know focus on the family has been very supportive and is a great resource to help, uh, parents understand how to address this with their teens. Yes.
