Mike, good morning, Good morning, Bill, Good to be with you. Always good here as we continue to keep our finger on the pulse of the say back, it seems like it's you know, at times, you get encouraged, you think, okay, it's robust. Things are starting to happen. Dune is championing the cause. But the Democrats, you got to hand it to them. I mean, they're fighting down to their last breath.

0:44 Yeah. This is one of the This is when you're seeing the legislative process, it's kind of like the sausage making process. It's not always pretty, right, there's ebbs and flows with everything. And even though we have a piece of legislation that is enormously popular amongst I think generally Republicans and Democrats, when it comes to the populace, right, normal people, regular people out there in the United States all think that overwhelmingly think that you should have to show identification when you vote, think that you should have to show establish a citizenship when you register to vote, ensure that you're a citizen, and obviously have election officials identify and remove non citizens from voter rules. These are just baseline common sense measures, and yet you see all the machinations in Congress going on now. Republicans do have the majority, but Democrats can cannot procedural change challenges. Of course, they've been coming out publicly saying Democrats have been calling this Jim Crow two point zero. I don't think that's resonating with folks.

1:35 I think really the hold up here is kind of the Republicans here. We know that there's different options. They don't have a super majority, so there's not sixty votes, So we have that incident whether we're going to we have this situation where whether you're going to have this talking filibuster and the classic fill thebuster that we've talked about over and over again, whether you're going to have the zombie filibuster. There's some talk now that trying to work the Save Act into a reconciliation package. I don't think that that can work reconciliation packages are are legislation budgets by a simple majority that are revenue raising or budget This is a policy issue. I think Senator Mike Lee from Utah has talked extensively about this, So I don't think this I don't think this is the kind of law that should be pushed through via reconciliation. I think it should be pushed through via talking filibuster. I think it's important enough to the people of the United States, and important enough for our country to ensure election integrity, that this should be subject to the full debate in the United States Senate, and that means a talking filibuster. Fortunately, that doesn't seem to be happening. What will be disappointing to me right now is whether the Senate goes on recess, and they're scheduled to go on recess I think in about five or six days for up to a couple of weeks. I think it might be March thirtieth through April thirteenth, and that would mean that the bettest business of the Senate would be postponed until after that. I would like to see, of course, the Senate and Congress maintain continue to be in Washington, DC throughout the coming weeks to try to get through this important piece of legislation. Also, of course, there's other important piece of business that needs to be done up on Capitol Hill, and that's funding DHS to ensure that our TSA workers and our Coastguard

3:07 and DHS receives its full allotment of funds for operations. Right, well, let's go back and let's focus on election integrity right now. The longer this goes, I mean in a sense, I mean it's kind of a it's a filibuster of sort that's taking place right now publicly. And the longer it takes place, the more exposed the Democrats I see have become. Because how do you resist something, as you say, that is just loaded with such common sense that is highly popular. Yeah. Absolutely, And this is why I've always advocated the talking filibuster because it again, it allows the debate to percolate through the political process, right and you have the Senators having to actually defend their positions in any given opposition or support for a given bill. This is how the process was originally intended by the Framers. This is the political process playing out again. When you see Chuck Schumer calling this Jim Crow two point zero. I think there's political ramifications for that. I think people see right through that he's desperate.

4:10 Mike, Yeah, that's that's what it speaks of, of his desperation. I mean, everybody knows, including Grandma at home, that Chuck Schumer's leadership position is in jeopardy. And so they've got him, you know, they've got him in a. Stranglehold, and and so he's got to stay resistant and it's almost like they're just trying to run the clock out. Yeah. I think they're trying to run the clock out, and unfortunately they're they're kind of being abetted by Republicans in Congress. Again, you need to have all of them, because there's fifty one Republicans and the leader, particularly John Thune, they need to be on board all they all need to be marching in the same direction. And you don't necessarily see that, right. You see, some senators are saying this can be done via Republicans. I'm talking about some can be this can be right reckon, this can be put to a vote by a reconciliation. You have some senators saying that, you have some senators saying that we can we're gonna it's not gonna get to sixty. We're going to go on a recess. It's it's it's doa.

5:06 You have some senators talking, and again the ones IPRAC particularly support are the senators like Mike Lee who are saying, no, this is talking philibuster. This is what we should be doing. This is what we should be focusing on. We should be staying through the East or recess to ensure that this legislation gets through. So I'm you know, that's the problem here is you see some you see some cracks in the Republicans. If if they had started again, I keep saying this, but again it's kind of Monday morning quarterbacking at this point. But if they've instituted the set the House Representative passed this in early February, right it's the end of March. If the if they had gotten on board with this right after it went through the House and started talking filibustering it, we'd be now at week seven, so I think, and then you really have it, it'd be really full. Every everybody'd be talking about you have this talking filibuster that potentially could have been long going longer than the philibuster for the Civil Rights Act, which is historically known as one of those long filibusters, which was civil six weeks. So you know that's I guess, you know, water under the bridge, et cetera. But right now, I really I will be really disappointed if the Senate goes on recess and tables this, yeah for another two weeks instead of sticking around doing the business of the American people and getting this legislation through.

6:17 If this doesn't pass, Mike, who's going to pay more? The Democrats are the Republicans? I mean, I think I think Republicans are going to pay. I mean, sincerely, there's some headwinds going into a midterm election. You always have political headwinds knowing the fact that you're you know, you have the presidency. Traditionally we see the how that always shakes out. The party in power with the presidency tends to lose seats in midterm elections. That's a historical kind of trend that we're talking about. So you already have these headwinds. I mean, I think that I think this is I've said before this is one of the top three issues for Republican base voters. You have election integrity, immigration and economy, and if it's perceived, and it's not perceived, it's not a perception. If it's the reality that controlling the majority of both houses of the Congress, you can't get some you can't get something that eighty five percent of the American people agree on.

7:06 I think there's going to be political ramifications in the fall. For Republicans. This is something that they can do right now that will have effects for decades to come, ensuring exactly the elections, both politically and for the good of the American people. But I just I don't see the will with it with enough of them, which is really disappointing. Right now. Well, I agree with you. I think this is a leadership issue, and you know, a lot of things are being exposed. You know, you got the Democrats position on an eighty twenty issue, the response that they have. They're not even articulating anything intellectually about election integrity. They want business as usual. Well, business as usual.

7:47 Has sixty three percent of Americans saying we don't trust in the process right now, okay, And all they do they just argue emotionally about it. There's nothing suggesting any eye ideas in order to secure our elections whatsoever. It's just like you say, Jim Crow two point. Well, okay, we've heard that over and over again. But you know, tell me, tell me something I don't know and that I need to hear to give me a sense of confidence going into the midterm elections and going forward that we're going to have free and fair elections here in America maybe for the first time in decades. Yeah, And I mean then think of how motivating that would be from from you know, to Republicans and to the base again that this is the point, and how demoralizing will be to not have anything done, right, I mean, what's the point of.

8:34 How this is like Obamacare all over again? Mike, right, what's the point of having a Republican majority in the House and Senate if we can't even get through voter ID right, right, you can't even get through now, you can't even get through voter ID. That is that's eighty five percent. I'm almost coming to the point where now I'm recognizing the reality of the situation where I'd rather have something than nothing. So if we could get a bill through that at least mandiate mandates voter ID when you vote in person or mandates that you that you identify and remove non citizens from the voting rolls. Michael, as you were saying before the break, I mean, this is what compromised. This is how compromise works. You go, you debate it, and you find out, Okay, what can you carve out? But right now, not to have anything at this point. I really put a lot of pressure on John Thune. I mean, on the. Surface, I like the guy, but you know, I've always lived a life of results, you know, and when you're the leader, you've got to produce a bottom line here and his bottom line is not looking too good. Yeah. I mean the position I've taken on this is is his vacillation regarding the filibuster? And I think is this concern he has with nuking the filibuster right and obligating a talking I think it's not nuking a philibuster. It's just obligating the Senate to do what it was originally intended to do, and that is engaged in talking filibusters and compel the senators to hold the floor, the opposition to hold the floor to prevent a vote. And so if that takes weeks, then so be it. Let it take weeks, that's fine. And then he's concerned, well, if we do that, then when the Democrats come into power, dot dot dot, Well the Democrats are going to come into power anyway, and just be let's be realistic here.

15:27 And I said this before. I think with you is they don't have They're not going to have any problems holding to traditions and norms once they obtained power. So yeah, they did. They did it before with Harry Reid. Right, So if you want to know what somebody's going to do, look with what they've done. And the fact of the matter is is that you've got to be able to have a win. You've got to secure something here, You've got to be focused on. It, even to John Thune. The fact that John Thune put his gun back in his holster and and and even worse yet, he took his gun off his uh you know, uh out of the holster, I mean in the holster and put it in the safe. Yeah, you know, that's the deals so ridiculous. I mean, it's like, hey, you know, I would be saying, guys, you're pushing me to nuke the filibuster, and I will do it, you know.

16:14 I mean, that's what Trump does. This is how he negotiates. He takes you to the edge and so that you will you will negotiate and comes, you know, come more on and be more reasonable. The Democrats aren't you know, like I said, they're just running the clock on this deal at the expense of the American people. Yeah, certainly, and that I think that's what we're seeing. So we'll see again. It's still up in the air. It's not lost. The fact that we're talking about it, continue to talk about it is a good thing. The fact that people are continuing to talk about this is a good thing. Election integrity and election laws are on the mind of the American People. Supreme Court had a case on it earlier this week. I think there are poised to release a decision on the Voting Rights Act and using race to determine congressional aportionment louisiannivers La that should be coming out, possibly coming out today. We've seen this score before though, at least at some point it's going to come out. So there's a lot of good, there's a lot of good movement on election integrity. But of course, integral to all of this is passage enactment of the Save America Act or at least some of the more popular, overwhelmingly popular provisions of it. For heaven's sake, you can't even get a vote on voter ID. So we'll see what happens here, you know, TBD, right.

17:27 Yeah, right, Well, and then here we are where we've got parts of our government still being unfunded. You know. Again, it is the tail shaking the dog here, Mike. Yeah, Yeah, they're just it's kind of it's kind of fun, I think for the left is just here to sow chaos. At this point, they're just agents of chasts. They're not proposing any significant substantive changes. All it is is just let's just create reckless abandonment and chaos throughout the country. You see, if we can get enough to stir up enough resentment to regain power. And that's why, you know, why, why are why are TSA line? You know why are why isn't TSA being funded? Well, okay, the reason is Ice is Nazis. And so if we if we look in Ice and we use that to sow chaos in the airports and people are mad and they're mad at the party in power, we're going to get back into power.

18:22 And we're not going to propose anything. We're not doing anything productive for the American people. We're just simply just you know, instituting mass chaos throughout the country. And and what is there? What is their platform? I've asked this over and over again. What do you what? What do the Democrats? What does the left want? Now? Open borders, no security in our country, no election security? Uh, you know what? What do they want? Green new deal? Again? It's just all of these things are are the antithesis of America. And we have this opportunity and we're on this road. If you if you look ahead to the greatness that we can become, it's you see it just down the road. And yet you have the you have you knowing accomplices in the Republican Party, and you have the Democrats out there that are trying to move us off that path, and it's really it's really disappointing.

19:07 Well, you know, you brought up something that's really key here that people need to catch and that is that the Democratic Democratic controlled party. I'm not saying all Democrats. I'm just saying that which controls the Democratic Party is anti American. You know, you just said, it's the antithesis. It's not constitutional. They always talk about, you know, a constitutional crisis or democracy. And I was talking with another guest earlier this week and I said, what is their definition of democracy? Because when they when they talk about democracy, and the evidence that they provide in their arguments is anti democratic, you know, just like you say, having open borders putting the people at a national security risk, especially right now when we've got sleeper cells in this country.

19:53 We've already had what for, incidents of people saying that they're supporting Iran and they've killed Americans or I have tried to It's like, wait a minute, you know, what are you missing here? You guys are delusional, and instead of us really being on high alert on all levels, we've got a government that's operating more more in concern of who's who's got the cheese. You know, who's going to be able to move the cheese? Yeah, who's It's just I would ask, I'd ask, what's your vision for America? What do you want America to look like in two years, five years, ten years, twenty years. What do you what do you see? And they'll say they'll probably frame it through this lens of increased equality, equality, equality, equality, and it's like, what do you you know that doesn't your methodology for achieving whatever you want to consider equality is simply reduce us into misery. Take, okay, well everybody will be equal, but we'll all be cracked. We'll all be miserable, so we'll all be equally miserable. That's your that's your response to it. That's the effect of what you have. Nothing works. I think, what's what's an interesting point.

20:56 You raised Obamacare earlier, and I think that's really coming to the forefront too, the failure of Obamacare. I think it just I know it's a little off topic, but it's important to kind of throw. No, because the model is there. Yeah, go ahead, we talk about this Obamacare, now, what is it? Sixteen seventeen years after the fact, and we're seeing the is healthcare better? I don't know. Everybody's paying more for health insurance and getting less out of it, right, And so you know, young folks who are forced into the system have to pay exorbitant amounts of money, have to be supplemented from the government. So none of their signature programs work, nothing functions for them. And yet so this is why I think all they want to do right now is because they have nothing to fall back on from a positive perspective. They just want to destroy the iteration of America right now, the Trump administration, I guess to the point where that's enough. The frustration of how things are right now drives people to vote for the opposition. So it's frustrating again to go back to the save Act. I think if we could secure our elections chaos again. When I use the word casts, they want casts everywhere cass the electoral system, right, It's been one of their main goals over the past twenty five years is to remove any and all reasonable protections on the election system. No identification, no verification, no cleaning up voter roles, ABS ANDEE ballots are permitted. Ballots can be accepted for days weeks after an election. By having this, by sowing chaos, you're able to appropriate power. And you see it time and time again. And of course, why why they so against the Save Act Because it begins to roll that back and roll that chaos back and

22:29 push back against it and institute institute basic safeguards on the process. Yeah. It what it does, it reconnects us with our constitution. Yeah, and that's the last thing they want. Just as you said, it's chaos with the purpose. They want chaos just like any like any other in history, whenever there's been a takeover of a government, this is what first comes in, is they create chaos, They create dissatisfaction with the status quo. They lie about it. This is what the Democrats have done time and again. The media is all part and parcel of it, reporting, you know, negatively on purpose. You know, ninety plus percent of what they report on is, you know, with America's woes, instead of any kind of excellence or any kind of of hope and all the positive things potentially that are happening in the Middle East that we're doing right now.

23:19 It's just, well, look at this is the America. We know the score, we know the playbook. The frustrating thing back to tie this back to the say of Acting Congress. The frustrating thing is we can see this playing out in real time and yet you have you know, I don't, I don't. I want to say it's output as mildly as possible. You have individuals who are supposedly conservative or Republican in Capitol Hill who are aiding and abetting this, who aren't interested in pushing back, pushing back on this seriously. And that's that's you know, it's it's it's encompassed, and it's encapsulated by the activities of senators with the Save Act. Well, the fact of the matter, as you're bottom backing it, Yeah, exactly.

24:00 The bottom line is, Mike, it's a lack of courage. Yeah, you got to think though, I think it's either a lack of courage. I think that's one thing, and I also think that some folks up on Capitol Hill are happy just where they are. They don't want to have to do anything serious, and it's a good life up there, and if you could just be in the opposition, it's okay, if you could be part of the uniparty. Uh, it's it's something good. It's easier to it's easier to oppose than to govern. We all know that it's easier to throw rocks at somebody than actually have to drive the car, right, So you know, the real responsibility is actually having to govern and having to push through the tough decisions and take responsibility for that. And so, uh, you know, I think there's folks enough enough senators right now, disappointingly that aren't interested in aren't seriously interested in ensuring the integrity of our elections.

24:51 Well, our listeners and viewers have got to slam the phones. Yeah, they've got to get on the phones and make it a point today. You know, give give your country, Give the rest of us who believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Give us five minutes. Can you give us five minutes? Give us fourteen days. I had the pleasure of being there over the long weekend, and came back Monday about noon or so and stood in line Tuesday after Tuesday afternoon and stood in line one, a long line, for a twenty minutes. And I was in the pre check line, which moved pretty more swiftly than the regular line. And I got to the front realized, oh, this is Concourse C where I've sold to go make sure my tickets for concourse. D said to get out and get in another line. Anyway, I probably spent about thirty thirty five minutes in line, and that was in the pre check line. The regular line is even longer.

31:11 And again this isn't because of mechanical failure or weather or tornado. This is because Chuck Schruman. The Democrats decided that they want to stick it to Trump and stick it to Ice, and so in order to stick it to ICE's actually which is funded through twenty twenty nine, they decide, okay, well, it's just not going to fund DHS. And so the TSA people have not been fading in about five weeks. These people are working on paychecks, they've got mortgages, they've got bills. I think about six hundred of them have said look we can't take any more. They've quit. So these people aren't there anymore, and this is not even happening a time where things are trying tranquil. We don't have any worries. You know, we're involved in a hot military engagement with Iran. God only knows if they've got sleeper cells who are active. Incidents already have been there, and who knows, who knows if there's a Mohmadata type cell sent by that Tolla thing. Okay, let's get even with the gringos by blowing up a plane or stabbing some stewardesses or you know, attacking passengers or whatever it might be. And so we need these people to be on point, completely focused, not distracted, not thinking about how am I gonna pay my mortgage and oh my god, I'm going to be foreclosed on my on my home, or oh my landlord's going to kick me out tonight if I can't figure out some way to pay the bills. And so instead of looking at the you know, the metal detectors and looking for knives or guns or bombs or whatever else and think, oh boy, I'm better get out of here and go borrow money from Uncle Vinny so I can run and take some cash by six o'clock to my landlord and I get we don't need these people focused on that. We needn't focused on making sure we don't get hurt or killed,

32:41 and Chuck Shuman. Democrats don't want them focused on that. They want them to suffer. The TSA people are suffering. The Coast Guard's not getting paid. God forbid, We've got Iranian Ranians in boats or ships or yachts or whatever it is, running up and down the coast for you to attack us. And Chuck Sheemer. The Democrats don't want to pay the Coastguard people either, and so we Americans are suffering. And it's been not just you know, two or three day stunt. This is dragging on into five and six weeks. And the Republicans repeatedly have put measures on the Senate floor to get this, get these people paid, and get this thing moving, and the Democrats time and time you can say no, no, let's inflict the pain some war. Let's make the American people suffer. Let's make the TSA, the Coast Guard suffer. It's unconstable, it's disgusting, it's reprehensible. I think, frankly, for this to happen in the middle of a war is treason. This has become treason, and the Democrat Party has become it's gone from a political party into clear and present danger in the American people.

And I think the entire Democrat Party desperately needs to be voted out of office and put into the Smithsonian Institution as an historical relic. And these these are dangerous, horrible, I think, truly cruel and statistic people. And the sooner they're out of. Power, the better, exactly. And the thing is is that where is the mainstream media on this? I mean, they're siding with the Democrats, still anti Trump, you know, they hate anything. You know, TDS is running rampant. I mean you talk about therapy and probably post traumatic uh you know examples that are going to exist after Donald Trump finishes his second term here that you're going to have all these journalists going in for you know, claiming PTSD.

But I just you know, again, this is particularly since if I'm not mistaken, I could be wrong about this. But I think the TSA people are unionized. I think they're part of a yesterederal union. Yeah, okay, so they're they're screwing federal unionized federal workers. I mean, this should be their base. This should be the people they love. These are people paid for by the federal government who are union members. I mean, this should be this.

35:03 They should be you know, practically spoon feeding these folks, and instead they're kicking them in the rear end and in the process injuring and delaying and harassing and inconveniencing at this point, millions of Americans. I mean, imagine you're either you know, young parents with kids who are two and three years old, who are screaming, they want to be fed, They're distracted their boards, they're up and jumping up and down, screaming, yelling, running all over the place. You're trying to keep them, you know, focused and organized for you know, one, two, three hours you're in line or you're you know, seventy eighty years old. You know, your knees aren't so strong, your hips are kind of weak, and you're in this long line and after a while you just feel like you're going to pass out. I wouldn't be surprised if there are medical situations where people are in line and dehydrated and of course stressed. Am I going to get my flight? Am I going to miss it? Oh? My god? And they go into some kind of medical trauma. I don't know if that's happened, but I wouldn't be at all surprised. And you can blame the Democrats for that too, if that happens.

35:59 Well, and the thing is is that if Thune lets them go home, the senators go home, they're going to experience some of these lines. And for sure they should not allow these senators to jump the line. You know that's part of. Their absolutely direct right. Well, the hell with that. No, these people should be told. And I don't know if the TSA controls out who does, but you know I would if any federal agent, the TSA or whoever handles that. If I were Trump, I put on an executive order saying, you know, the senators have got to be treated just like the American citizens. They got to get in line with the pre check line of the regular line. If they if Chuck Schumer and Corey Booker and Elizabeth Warren and the company all have a nice delicious taste of this, and they may come back from Easter break, if they leave on an eastern break and return and and say, all right, want me to get rid of this and fund TSA, the Coast Guard and the rest of DHS immediately and let them go back to work and keep us from being injured, kill, inconvenienced, injured, or killed by either Democrats or A terrorists, if the case.

37:01 Maybe the case, right, who in Congress I can't remember the name has introduced a bill saying that, you know, if the government shut down and people in the government aren't getting paychecks, then they should also not get paychecks. Do you remember, I do not recall who's done that. I've heard that idea. It's a very good one and it makes sense. Look, if if the TSA people can't pay their bills, then members of the US Senate, members of the US House, if they're culpable, I shouldn't be able to pay their bills either. And they need to be able every every member of Congress, frankly, every being the government needs to experience the consequences, intended or intended or unintended, of all of the laws that they pass.

37:42 And they very often give themselves carve outs, most notoriously probably in Obamacare, where they inflicted Obamacare on all of us. But then they have a special deal where they get to have their own health system, which is fantastic. We shall be so lucky, and they don't feel the repercussions of Obamacare. I think it's disgusting. That's part of the reason that the Cress lost the House in twenty ten. But yeah, and they should be if they're going to do this, Yeah, they ought to be standing in line with the rest of us. Yeah. And by the way, it is John Kennedy and I and I don't wonder why that would slip my mind, because I love John Kennedy and he seems the one, you know, the one that has consistent reason there in the Senate, and you know, he tried to work things out, you know, regarding the shutdown. But the challenge that they're having with the Democrats is they again, they're running out the clock here and they're doing everything they can to stall, and they keep changing, you know, the parameters. They agree to something, say okay, we'll give you that, and they go, oh, we don't want that, now we will, and.

And as you say, this is a delivered, deliberate strategy, deliberate strategy because they know that President Kennedy the Republicans are in charge for all much long, for only for so long. And if they can the drag this out. Every day that this goes on, it's one more day that we can't have more taxes, a tax cuts past or Save America Act passed, or anything in terms of deregulation or anything to strengthen the fight against two legal aliens, get more judges approved, get ambassadors approved. So they're just ragging their feet as long as possible, hoping they can get us to the midterms and then get a Republican House, or god forbid, a Republican House and Senate, and then completely shut down President Trump's program. So I don't like it.

You know, in any kind of contest, you know, if a team is going to rise to a certain level, you've got to meet that. If you don't, you're going to be overwhelmed. And this is what happens time and time again. And my humble opinion is, I see the Republicans are quick to you know, fold and it's amazing to me because when you look at all the great things that Donald Trump has handed to them and handed to our country. I mean, it's not like they don't have anything to stand. For here, No, absoutely correct. And I find that so many Republicans have I called the nice disease. Oh let's be nice to Democrats and let's be even handed to them.

44:31 Let's be friendly. And I'm all for nice, but nice has to be two way street. It can't be I ninety five on one side and you know, unpaved alley on the other, which is what we have today. And now with the same America Act, which is which passed comfortably in the House. I don't know why a bill that has the support of seventy one percent of Democrats want photo I d eighty five percent Americans across the board. I think it's ninety five ish percent among Republicans. I mean, the support for the things this bill are overwhelming. So it's not like this is a bill that's got fifty to fifty support or Republicans are trying to push something that's pushed something through that's unpopular.

I think it's the most bipartisan and almost the unanimous peace of legislation I've ever seen that I can remember. And he had the Republicans just dragging their feet, like, oh, this is the you know, give Everybody Free Poison Act of twenty twenty six. It's more like give everybody a free bacon and you know, free Bacon and ice Cream Act of twenty twenty six. Everyone's screaming, you know, we want ice cream, we want bacon, and they're like oh, well, we don't want to give it to these people out of the baffling and really frustrating. It really is. But again, you know, you understand, you know, the perspective of the Democrats because this really would put you know, a chink in their cheating you know methodologies. I mean, they've worked hard to create this cheating system that they've been able to get away with for decades. And now you know, Trump is coming in and putting a stick in their spokes and you know, riding the ship and securing elections to where we could actually franchise the voters. Again, I mean, what the Democrats have done is disenfranchised voters.

46:32 You look at you know, as they continue to negatively impact our trust and confidence in the system, we have less and less people participating in elections. That's correct. Yeah. I think one of the reasons that the GP loses elections way too often is people think, well, what's the point on the polls. You know, it's a rigged system. They're going to learn my ballots, So I'll just stay home and stay with some polls. Well, I'll tell you, if you show with the poles you vote, they might shred your ballot. But and not count it. But if you don't show up, one hundred percent chance they're not going to count your ballot if it's not there in the first place, So you always wouldhow open and vote Number one. Number two, the Save America Act, I think we'll do a whole lot to restore election integrity in this country, give us election system we can be proud of rather than ashamed of. And people focus a lot on as they should, on the clean up the voter rolls, proving your US citizen what a amazing concept, and actually bringing voter idea to the polls photo ID so people can make sure the name of the face is match. But one an aspect to this that I very much favor that's not done quite as much attention.

47:33 I have a piece of the daily signal about this Save America Act will make absence of ballots great again. President Trump has advocated. The bill actually does the following, which is you can the mass mail in ballot thing we've done since COVID where they just last ballots out all the way across the state whether people want them or not, like we do in Colorado, rather California on number of other states. New Jersey ethics another Instead, what you will do is go back to what did before COVID, which is, if you want to vote absentee, it has to be because you're sick, you're infirm, you're home paralyzed or whatever it is, or there again military or wow, here's another concept. Or you're going to be absent on election day. You know you're traveling, you've got whatever to do and you won't be there. Or maybe you're a way for college. Let's say. In that case, if you're not physically able to show up with the polls, then you can ask for an absente ballot. Yet one not to just have blast out to everybody you know across the board, including people who've relocated, people who've moved away, people who, for whatever reason, you know, decide that I don't want to be involved in politics anymore, or even people are dead. This is something from the Las Vegas Review Journal back in August of twenty twenty. They reported that in the elections, again the people of Clark Counties blasted ballots all across Clark County, whether people want them or not.

48:51 And this was a confirm by the Review Journal tw three hundred and fifty eight people in the state's active roles were deceased, so dead people. So that means again they sent ballots two thousand three and fifteen dead people. And I've got photos in this picture in this article, really heartbreaking, disgusting mail in ballots which are just throwing in the trash because they get set to people in apartment buildings, they've moved away, they've died, whatever, And the ballots sit there and after a while people throw in the garbage. Let's hope they get thrown away. People might pull them, pull them out, go oh good, look, we can vote for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris four or five times instead of once, or for that matter, vote for Trump four or five times if it's supposed to put one time, not multiple times. And people died, you know, face face down in the sands of u Regima and Normandy in Oman Beach, that we could preserve our right to vote and pick our own leaders and be a self governed people. And the Democrats have now taken our beautiful, sacred ballots and turn them into things you throw in the garbage along with banana peels and Coca Cola cans and shoot up you know, expired chewing up. It's disgusting that the Democrats have done this to our sacred ballots.

What they've done, though, is they've repurposed those ballots and in many cases, because you know, Mark Elias and his team they had the database so where all these ballots were going, and they knew that some of these you know, like you and I have been reporting on some of these homes that were getting ballots. I mean, I'm multiple dozens of ballots these owns that supposedly these voters they were vacant. And guess what Mark Ollias and his team had people going out and capturing these ballots. They weren't necessarily thrown away. They were captured. And so guess how they voted?

50:39 Do you bet? Yeah? I'm sure they voted the straight Republican ticket, right. Yeah. I had a piece that I did some time back on this exact topic. This is a piece in the also Daily Signal ran this piece and it was let's see back in Oh, I'm trying to find this. I'll tell you exactly what was I find it. I think it was ever FBI's Fulton County election rate better six years late than ever and I showed in this particular article photos photographs, for example, a house that's sitting there completely abandoned. It's overrun, an ivy, it's got weeds on the inside, the ceiling's missing, it's got like a busted toilet. I mean, you can't believe how completely decrepit this house is. Yet nineteen people are registered vote there. This is a totally uninhabited and uninhabitable house with nineteen voters. Then there's another place, which is a homeless shelter which is in Fuld County in Atlanta, and it has I think seventy homeless people register to vote there. Well, the only problem is that this homeless shelter closed in I believe twenty six, twenty seventeen, nine years ago. So seventy people register to vote there. It's been empty for nine years. So where those seventy ballots going.

51:53 It's just disgusting that this kind of thing goes on, and I hope they say that puts an end to it. And this mass mailing ballot thing is just to a recipe for even Jimmy Carter, late Jimmy Carter and James Baker's former secretary of Secretary Baker of Sexuary of State. They held a head a bipartisan commission and they basically said, look, the number one vector for a vote frauds mass mail in ballots or mail in ballots in general. So we really need to get that under control and limit that just to people who are unable to get the polls, military or just you know, going to be absent on election day like we used to do before COVID came into this started into something that they just you know, throughout promiscuously, like like confetti.

52:35 Well, and the thing is, what has been proven Deroy is that in other countries when they discipline the voting process, guess what participation goes up because people are again they're franchised into the system as opposed to being disenfranchised, as you say, when you know their votes are canceled or you know you've got a bunch of illegal immigrants voting. And I mean you know there's been some some people, you know, they've been some studies. Oh we checked it and we only found one. Well, if you only found one illegal, what does that tell you? I mean, you know, because we have certain in certain races, I mean, they're decided by a very slim margin and in some cases.

53:23 There was a case you and I talked about where there was an actual tie. Did you know this happens? Yep. There's a outfit with which I've done some work. The PILs, the Public Interest Legal Foundation run by Jay Christian Adams, is an excellent election attorney, and they have a database on there on the website where they show the number of races that have been either decided by one or two votes or tied. And it's not just a handful, these are hundreds that some of them might be a city council, some might be school board. But these are important people, and you know, it could be one one particular person who wins by one or two votes and then oh, look it's the Democrat majority. And so instead of people focusing on phonics and reading and math, they're focused on DEI and transgender studies and uh, what do you call it? A drag Queen's story? Hour and on and on because you have a Democrat majority that approves that stuff rather than Republican majority go the other way. It could be the deciding vote as somebody who's who's Who's gotten in there by you know, one or two votes, and they could be the votes of the legal aliens. They could be votes of people who are not supposed to vote. They could be people voting two and three or four ballots rather than one, because hey, look, you know we have all these extra ballots that pile up across street. Let's pick them up and fill them out. And all of a sudden, you know, somebody wins by a couple of votes and all this and you've got people uh in the local you know, uh tiny small town school district too, or doing things Republicans Conservas wouldn't like because they got in fraudulently.

54:49 So we know the Democrat argument that, oh, this is it's a small problem, it's not widespread. The exact amount of illegal ballots that should be in the mix is zero. It should be zero tolerance. You know, it's like saying, oh, don't worry, you just have ten cancer selves for that many. It's it, don't worry. Now, guess what eventually becomes a big problem. And so the the the correct numbers zero, not one or two or three or five or six or ten. Well, you keep thinking, at least I do deroy that win is enough enough, and you know the American people have about had it. You know, with all this. Fraud, fraudulent and lawlessness that's taken place, we need to recapture our constitution and recapture our country because you know, the ruling elites are happy to continue on. They're happy merrily little Way.

And I hope people go to the polls during the primaries and during the general election November and flesh out as many these people as we can and keep the Democrats as far away from power as possible, because we've just seen it over and over them. We last time we talked, we talked about, you know, the importance of free speech and being respectful. And now we want to take a look at your latest column on the Democrat's refusal to fund the Department of Homeland Security, which you say has exceeded any hypothesis of good faith. Right. Absolutely, there's no more reason. There was never a reason for what they did. But they used the pretext of being dissatisfied with ice, and you know, whether they were or they weren't, most of what needed to be fixed from their view, not even from my view, has been fixed.

58:50 And now we're in a war, and now we've had four terrorism incidents in the last two weeks, and we need the Department of Homeland Security. We need TS so that we can have travel as we go into spring break. We just need America to be operating right exactly. Well, and the thing is is that when you look back at what the Left did, they exacerbated the problem. I mean, they just took advantage of what was going on here. Ice was called to do something that was really beyond their capacity and training in a sense. I mean, you know, to go in and do crowd control. This is not what they're trained to do. They're trained to go capture the bad guys in a controlled situation, not in a general population. I mean, they just in my context, what I would say is that they didn't have a fair chance to be successful with their mission, and the Democrats were there doing everything they could to put a stick in their spokes and to make the situation worse.

59:53 Well, yeah, but let's focus in on your last point. Yes, it's not ICE's job to handle crowd it's the job of the local police exactly. It's also not the job of the local elected officials to incite people to go out and riot and to interfere with ICE operations. So the Democrats one hundred percent created the circumstances in which ICE was less successful. They sent the people out onto the street, they ordered the police to stand back, They put Ice and even worse because their training is entirely different border patrol in an untenable situation.

But what happened with Renee Good, from everything I can see, was Renee Good's fault or the fault of the Democrats who egged her on into putting her car where it was right. They can't create a circumstance then pounce one of their favorite words, yes, when ICE is partially defeated by the circumstance they create, and then refuse to fund homeland security because they don't like that ICE wasn't able to perfectly handle the myths they created exactly well.

We tell them to sit down without a pay chance. By the way, right, we're certainly not paying them. Look, I favor what are doing in Iran, others may not.

And I do want to make a distinction between the average member of the Democrat Party or the average voter in elections in Democrat primaries, because the polls show that there is a mismatch between what elected Democrat officials are doing and what the average Democrat wants. The elected Democrat officials in this country control over them has been seized by the far left energized base of the Democrat Party. These people are not patriotic. They don't believe in American ideals. They believe in a fundamental change to America. And again I emphasize this, that's not what all Democrats think. It's what the progressive wing believes. And right now they're controlling elected Democrats in Congress.

1:02:54 But it's up to those Democrats to come together, the ones that are pro American, because I've set the divide is either you are pro American or anti American. I don't care too much about the party, the partisan politics. You know, it frustrates me. You know, at the end of the day, I want us to be on the same team USA, and I want to be alongside people who are pro American. They're thinking what's best for America, not this group, like you said, this radical part of the Democratic And I'd say there's radical people even on the right that are not interested necessarily in pro American values. But those need to be vetted out, and they need to be vereted in such a way to where we have a true majority of pro Americans that are looking out for the best interest for people that still believe in the American dream.

1:03:49 Can right. Absolutely. So. There's a poll that just came out Fox Poll from a couple of weeks ago, and it looked at how people perceive their patriotism towards the United States. If you go back twenty five years, it was about ninety percent, not much difference between Republican Democrats and independents. You look at it today in only thirty six percent of Democrats self identified Democrats say that they have any level of patriotism. If you go and look behind those numbers, you see the real drop off is among younger people and liberal to very liberal Democrats, and not all Democrats are very liberal. There are moderate Democrats. Among moderate Democrats, many remain patriotic.

1:04:34 And to your point, oh, somewhere around twenty percent of Republicans don't describe themselves as patriotic. Those are probably Republicans on the very far right. We have a. Problem on the very far right and the very far left. Right Now, the far left has more people than the far right, and the far left is more powerful than the far right, but both are not good for America well. And I see the far left their desire to do more damage and destruction, they seem that seems to be very acceptable on the very far left. On the far right, they may pitch a fit and everything, but they're not the ones necessarily that you know, would be doing the things that the left do in terms of destruction of property and things like that.

1:05:24 Yeah, we were together, no, no, no, we were together several months ago, and we discussed one of my articles about the Fire Survey, that's the Freedom Free Speech Organization survey of universities, and that survey showed on the university campuses that, first of all, across all students, there'd been a decline in the belief in freedom of speech and the right to address controversial issues, but on the use of violence, among those who describe themselves as liberal, a majority believed that the use violence was occasionally at least justified, and a smaller percent thought that it was often justified.

On the conservative side, it was three percent. So yes, we have a problem. It's not only among liberals who are the far left, but it is predominantly among the liberals and the far left. That's not by accident. Oh, every headline in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post is anti Trump. If we have a stunning victory in Iran, the headline is US fails to achieve one hundred percent of objectives because we only achieve ninety nine percent. It's out of control. Let me tell you one startling number. There is a centrist Democrat organization called Third Wave, and they've been really hitting their head against the wall for the last few years, trying to convince the Democrat Party to move closer to the center and away from the far left. And they've commissioned polls by all sorts of different organizations. One came out last week and a majority of Democrats identify themselves as observant Christians.

I still may not agree with all of the policies you'll want to follow, but we will be in complete agreement on values and on a desire to do what's right, and then we can try to figure out how do we compromise on getting there.

There'll always be differences of opinion on issues like that, right, but those are still within the same value structure, the same goal, and the same love for America.

This could be quite the demarcation where we either are able to come together and bring these disparate ideas, you know, to some kind of peaceful arrangement, so to speak, so that we can talk and be able to advance our culture, or we just get absolutely nuts and you know, we could end up in another revolution, which maybe may not be all that bad.

When people don't share that view of politics, they're not helpful to the process or the nation.

America is a culture of values, and you can be any color, any religion, no religion, and you can share those values. But it is okay, hey, for America to say we want immigrants to be coming to America because they share our values. Our values don't mean that they want time and a half, double time, triple time. It doesn't mean what percent of the budget they wants been for defense, but it does mean a fundamental belief in our Constitution in the first ten amendments to our Constitution in our Declaration of Independence. And people that don't share those values should live someplace elsewhere they'll be.

And even when you become financially literate, you go, I have so much more to learn, Right.

There's always things that you can learn as you continue because you go through different life stages and different things matter at different points in your life, which is an important reason to keep going with the. And then there's other things that happen, you know that could happen, you know with the government, you know, certain economic policies that come into play, so you've got to constantly stay aware. Right, that's right. In times where there's more uncertainty or where economic conditions are worse, that makes it even more important to be able to focus on your budget, putting aside the emergency fund, staying on top of the literacy so that you're in the best position to be able to navigate through whatever's to come.

That is a very sad situation and I don't think we should ever, you know, condemn that experience because these drugs these days, this generation of drugs is so addictive exactly that once they try something, they can't stop, so they're stuck in it and they just maybe wanted to numb something. They get stuck in an addiction, And I think it's important to note that those are humans, as are somebody's children who are struggling with addiction, and their lives matter too, And they don't deserve to be deceived death by fentanyl just because they tried heroin. It's fifty times stronger than heroin and fifty times more addictive than crack. They don't deserve that either

But in my situation, in a lot of kids situations, they are children who are just experimenting, but with something fifty times more addictive than crack. Like I mentioned, it becomes an immediate addiction that these kids never wanted. They were trying to be cool, they were trying to fit in. They maybe wanted to try something because their friends were, or maybe they're experimenting at a young age. Whatever it was, they are now ruped into this addiction that they never wanted. Within two to three hours of trying fentanyl, you're getting with draw symptoms that are painful, exhausting, shivering, you know, fevers, cold sweats, bowel issues, you name it. There's every single with draw symptom and they can't tell their parents because they did something illegal. These drug pushers, these drug groomers.

They're hoping to keep them alive for a couple of weeks and it you know, sometimes they die the first time, sometimes they die in a few weeks, but they do die. So it is evil. It is evil to the core.
