Liberty v Tyranny & Time To Vote
The discussion focused on Richard Lyons’ work, specifically a side-by-side comparison titled Liberty versus Tyranny, which contrasts the US Constitution’s DNA with socialist tyrannical DNA. Then Fox News Contributor Deroy Murdock stressed the urgency to vote and says Republicans still could win the midterms. Democratic policy risks were framed as "American Marxism," including Medicare for All, expanding the Supreme Court to 13 members, and making DC and Puerto Rico states

12 Are you ready? Yeah. Okay, let's do it. Bill Martinez Live, a program about current events, our culture, our values, our politics, and our future. And now, Bill Martinez. Hey, good morning and welcome. Six minutes after the top of the hour right now. Bill Martinez here with Richard Lyons. Richard, of course, is the author of The DNA of Democracy and the Shadows of the Acropolis. Richard, always good to have you with us. How are you, sir? Oh, great to be with you, Bill. Well, lots to talk about. But before we get into it, you blessed me with this piece that you sent me last week, Liberty versus Tyranny. This is something that every voter should take with them to the ballot box. I mean, because this is a clear delineation of the binary choice that we're facing in the midterms that are before us, right?
05 Yes, it's actually an excerpt from Shadows of the Acropolis, pages 380 and 381, where when I got to the conclusion of the book, Bill, I said, my gosh, I can write it down in two columns and show that socialism isn't merely, you know, some similar kind of government. It's diametrically opposed to our founding principles. And so I make this list available at the DNAofDemocracy.com to download for anybody who wants to print it out or to have it on their computer or just to discuss with family. Do you know what you're voting for? Exactly.
46 This is what you're voting for when you vote Democrat. This is what you're voting for when you vote for an Islamist like El-Sayed. Just give a couple of highlights here. This is liberty versus tyranny. This is brilliant. A side by side column of what you get with a U.S. Constitution DNA and what you get with a socialist tyrannical DNA. Now, this is straight empirical reporting. This isn't opining. Factual. Utterly factual. Right. So go ahead and give us some highlights here. Okay. In the sheet itself, what have we got, about 20 or so? Yeah, there's 26 or so. Okay. All right. Well, we can start, Bill, right at the top with the natural rights of the individual. Those descend to us through the philosophy of John Locke, who was the godfather of all Western constitutions, based on our God-given, not state-derived rights.
41 to what we have in the Bill of Rights. We have a right to a trial by jury. We have a right of freedom of the press, of assembly, of faith and thought and speech. All of these things are our protections around the individual ensconced in our Constitution. Real quick, just to add on that, before you talk about the other side, is that We need to put this in terms of the context of this. This was so revolutionary. This is something that hadn't been conceived of prior. Historically, had there been another document and consideration of the individual God-given rights of an individual?
28 No. The history of humanity is actually built outside of America in the last 250 years, largely a history of human tyranny. It's a history of the pharaohs of Egypt. It's a history of Louis XIV of France, the sun god, other than in whose shadow nothing could grow, right? So it turned the idea of human government upside down. The individual became the sovereign. the government became the servant. And the problem with governments is that there's a natural concentration of power. Wherever there's power, power gathers, concentrates, and becomes oppressive.
19 And this is what it is. Against the individual human rights that are God-given, in socialism and any tyranny, whether you can go back to the pharaohs, it is the absolute right of the state to to do whatever it wants. They can take your wealth. They can determine where you live. They can determine whether your children go to school or whether they have a job. They can use the family against the individual and they can threaten the individual with whatever harms they choose. Well, that's kind of like what we heard this week with Alyssa Slotkin, right? Yes, exactly. But this is where the third volume comes in, which is Passages Through the Shadows. It's a collection of my articles over the past three years about current events and how you have founding principles on one side, and we're on a battleground with socialism on the other. And Slotkin is a perfect example, Bill. Thanks for bringing her up.
19 She is threatening children, saying, look, we're going to prosecute you if in high school you want to rally for a conservative candidate. We're going to prosecute you. Really? You're going to prosecute? But this is what, this comes from the Obama administration, Bill. I was going to say, I mean, this isn't new. It's just out of the closet. No, what happened was the Democrat party morphed. During the Clinton administration, all the agencies gathered together in the media to defend Bill Clinton, right? Right. used extra legal means to defend him. During Obama's administration, they did the same thing, but turned it out. They went after the opponents of liberal orthodoxy, of socialism. Yeah.
12 The best defense is an aggressive offense, right? Yes, correct. Yeah. Correct. And like Bill and Hillary used to attack the women who came forward and said, well, wait a minute, Bill molested me. In the wake of my husband's death, you remember Kathleen Willey? Yeah, that's right. Exactly. She goes to him for sympathy and he molests her. Yeah. Right? Well, everybody had to collect to defend what Bill Clinton would do in the Oval Office, for Pete's sakes. And it finally ended up with Monica Lewinsky and they trashed her. Well, all those elements of media and investigative agencies and law enforcement during the Clinton era that defended he and Hillary... turned upon the opponents of Democrats during the Obama administration. So you had the IRS attacking the Tea Party assemblies. We have freedom of assembly. They were attacked by the IRS. The HHS attacked the Little Sisters of the Poor. Why? Because they didn't offer abortion services.
15 Right. It's like the communists. Would say, we have ways to make you comport. in so many words. And this is what America's institutions have been doing. Whether, as you mentioned, and it still drives me nuts, and my audience may be sick of hearing it, but what Lois Lerner and Barack Obama did to the Tea Parties and what they did in terms of undermining the electoral process. How many cycles of elections have they influenced because of what they did to Tea Parties and other conservative groups, Richard? Well, 2012 is a start, right?
55 Yes. And since then, it's still alive and well. Right. Yes, because what happened was the Tea Party movement could not, in order to be a systematic organization, you have to have financing. And the IRS not only disallowed their ability to raise funds, they investigated the people who were part of the Tea Party movement. and made them so busy under investigation that they couldn't act as lawful citizens. And so you have this going on, and the greatest recent example, of course, is the Russia hoax. The lawfare waged against not just Donald Trump, but against all of his associates, his business associates, his businesses, his family, his friends. And this is the style of tyranny listed in this. It's called In our system of government, you have common law.
52 You have the individual standing of justice. In their system, it's a manipulation of justice based on party. What party do you belong to? Right, exactly. We've got to go to a quick break. We'll pick it up on the other side. More from Richard Lyons after this. Stay with us. A new study finds a major increase in STEM learning in after-school programs, but gaps remain. 13:14 Hey, we're back with you. Bill Martinez here with Richard Lyons, the author of The DNA Democracy, Shadows of Acropolis. We're talking liberty versus tyranny, the comparison and, you know, the weaponization of our government. And the thing is that's so fleeting is that you could be on one side because that is the political comparison. party in power at the time. And then you have a change in management. Now you're on the other side. And guess what? Now it's your turn to be beaten with a stick, right? No. And as you said, and the Democrats are very open and talking about it. Once Trump is out of office, they're going after his anybody who served in his administration.
57 Yeah, I can tell you, Richard, when Joe Biden was elected, our show was attacked We lost over 70% of our business just like that. Yeah, exactly. Because we were aligned with conservatism. We were aligned with God and country. The left, Joe Biden and his administration and all his ilk, that was an anathema to them. Yeah, and it goes to, they just found out about all the debanking, Bill. Yes, exactly. Of conservatives. You can't go to the bank and get a loan. They're trying to choke off, look at what they did with the IRS and the right of assembly of the Tea Party, right? They're choking off financing. When you get debanked at a bank, it means other banks can charge you more in interest for a regular loan.
41 Right, exactly. Because you're perceived as high risk at that point. Exactly so. They've been practicing a long time now, Bill. And now the problem is that the DSA, though it only has 100,000 members of the DSA, they have now attached themselves to the Democrat Party. What does it give them? It gives them all the operational support Of a Democrat party that's over 200 years old. It gives them all the financing within the Democrat party that they need. It gives them all the credibility. It gives them all the lawyers, right, that they need. It gives them everything of a major party, but they're this big.
28 Right. And they will take over that party because it is the will of the DSA to And it's an absolutist thing now. They do not want to mildly influence government. Our government is based on influence. We want to influence the decision of our representatives, right? We want to influence the creation of laws. They want to burn it down. Yeah, yeah, exactly. There's no middle ground. There's no negotiation. No, and it's absolutist universalist. Right, exactly. So even in socialists, Tyrannical terms, it's extreme. I don't think there is any extreme. I mean, look at the bottom of the list here, Bill.
09 I know. Under our constitutional government, we've liberated hundreds of millions of people in Europe and Asia, hundreds of millions. Under socialism, hundreds of millions have been butchered and hundreds of millions have been imprisoned. We have raised hundreds of millions, the free enterprise system based on common law, commercial law. has raised hundreds of millions of people throughout the world to a place of prosperity. Socialism has damned hundreds of millions of people to starvation, literally. It's factual. This is factual.
49 And in the 20th century alone, I mean, that's tyranny's record, socialism's record. You know, this upcoming Thanksgiving, you might use this as a mat and put it at every chair on your Thanksgiving table. You know what I'm saying? Beautiful idea. Yeah. I mean, just a you don't have to say anything. Just put it out there. Which side of this makes you sick? Right. Exactly. And maybe for some, it might be too late. But still, if anything, it's like, again, this is an opinion. This is empirical data. I mean, you can check it out. Go ahead and ask Gronk or ask, you know, Siri or whoever it is that you talk to in the, you know, in the space of social media, right? No, very true.
41 You can look at the history of the Bolsheviks, the history of Mao Zedong, the history of Pol Pot, the history of Vladimir Lenin, the history of Maduro in Argentina, the history of the Castro's in Cuba. It is always the same. We we I hear this word all the time now. Perfect. Oh, that order is perfect. Oh, what you're. Yeah, that's perfect. There's there's one perfect thing on Earth right now. And it is the perfect failure rate of socialist states. They have a perfect failure rate. And we are a success unprecedented success. in history for peace and prosperity. And we have this much, this many socialists within, now they've been allowed in and endorsed by a major political party.
30 This is where the Achilles heel is now of the Democrats, because they endorse this now. Exactly. Well, and to your point, let's just take a look at America, 250 years. In the areas where socialism has crept into this constitutional republic, I think you could almost say with certainty that that 100% has failed, whether we're talking Social Security, all these government handouts. I mean, we're $ 40 trillion in debt. I mean, the thing is so ironic as you laid it out and talking about how the socialists have overtaken the Democratic Party. They've actually used the ideas that the Democratic Party have used in absorbing power and absorbing the treasury. And so now they're being eaten by their own, are they not?
21 Yes, well, and it's not just that, but everywhere that they call unaffordable, right? Oh, we just want life to be affordable. It is Democrat Party policy that has made things unaffordable. Unaffordable, exactly. They've made healthcare unaffordable. They've made housing unaffordable. They've made higher ed... Who is the... It is a monopoly financing higher education in America. Obama saw to that. The day Obama finalized taking over financing for higher education, all the prices across the universities in the country doubled. And the value of the education was cut in half because they don't have to care about what they teach. They're not responsible to parents anymore. They're responsible to government. Because that's where the money's coming from.
09 Well, and again, this is what you point out here in the Citizen's Guide, Liberty versus Tyranny, is that you're beholden to a government that is, it's like the blob. It just keeps on, you know, reproducing itself and getting bigger and bigger. And this is why, you know, they're so threatened by Donald Trump, because Donald Trump is leading the charge. And this is what makes him so extraordinary, in the same manner that Charlie Kirk was extraordinary. They had a vision and an idea and a passion to really improve things, to to take you away from things that were limiting your freedom to really making you more free.
51 Wouldn't you agree? That was very well put, Bill. And the funny thing is that and this is our hope. This to me is my is my hope. Half the Democrat Party doesn't understand where its own party is going. Half the Democratic Party would not agree with what's the entirety of this side of the sheet. They would say, no, I don't want that. I don't want any of this. But they don't understand that that's where their own party is taking them. You know, if you look at Donald Trump and his policies and you look at JFK and his policies, they're not very different. Right. But where the Democrat Party has gone since JFK, they've moved to Cuba. They've literally undertaken a Castro style of vision and ideals.
40 Well, and to me, the linchpin for them was, I think it was the 2000 convention, when they disavowed God. As soon as I heard that, as soon as I said. Where do our rights come from? That's why they disavow it. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly so. And now take a look. What's the first common law in human history? It's the Ten Commandments. Well, it came down from Mount Sinai as a gift from God. It's God's law on earth. And in the Decalogue, it says thou shalt not, thou shalt not kill. Well, that's our right to life. Yes. Thou shalt not steal. It's our right to property. You shall not covet what is your neighbor's. Well, that's how socialism runs. on coveting what is your neighbor's. You want it and you can't vote it to yourself. So you got to steal it.
34 Exactly. You have to use government to steal for you. Well, this is a gift. And you say that they can download it at the website? TheDNAofDemocracy.com. It's where you can find out all about the series of three volumes now. And on the upper right, there's a tab that says Liberty v. Tyranny. 25:54 800-705-6581. 800-705-6581. That's 800-705-6581. Hey, we're back with you. I'm Bill Martinez. He's DeRoy Murdoch, the Manhattan-based Fox News contributor. Hey, DeRoy, how we doing? Great, Bill. How are you? Hey, doing fine. I think a little bit nervous, all things considered. I mean, I hear everyday Americans saying this is scarier than Halloween, the prospects that the Democrats could take over any part of power in our government.
38 It is quite scary. And the question is, you know, what are people going to do about it? You know, I don't think nothing is We're about five, six days away from the election. Nothing's baked in the cake. Nothing's set in stone. I hear people saying, oh, the Senate's lost. The House is lost. Nothing's lost. It's all a question of whether people get up and go to the polls. I know people are upset about gas prices and not everything has gone perfectly in Iran, et cetera, et cetera. But the alternative is just to stay home. The Democrats are very energized. They're focused. They're doing their part. Give them credit. They're focused in getting out there. And if Farside stays home, we're going to wake up. Wednesday, November 4th, and find out, God forbid, there's a Democrat Senate, Democrat House. And if that happens, it's just going to be nonstop hell for the next two years. It'll be endless impeachment. Somebody, Mark Simone, one of my colleagues at Fox News, said invest in a gavel-making factory. He'll make a lot of money because they'll be banging the gavels in all the committee hearings with one probe after another investigation, after another impeachment, and on and on and on. And you can forget about any progress on taxes, any progress on health care, on the border, on making sure ICE needs what it needs to get to deport aliens. Certainly no progress on voter integrity, election integrity, any vote fraud. There's no way in hell that a Democrat Senate is going to do anything with the Save America Act other than drop the whole thing into a shredder.
03 So if you're concerned about those sorts of issues, it's absolutely incumbent to get out there. Go to the polls, vote, and bring your friends, bring your neighbors, and make sure that they vote and put in people who are going to do the right thing and keep conservative values going. You know, DeRoy, they say they're most concerned about affordability. What policy are they bringing with them that will have any impact on affordability? I mean, we are in the situation we're in because of the policies that were created under one Barack Obama, eight years, and then four disastrous years on top of that of Joe Biden. And Donald Trump has almost single-handedly been trying to dig us out of this hole that we're in with little thanks from the Republicans that should be on board and codifying these things, whether it has to do with the border. I mean, it's almost like, you know, we're being set up here because the Republicans who had the House and Senate, I mean, you and I talked about John Thune. nuke the sucker.
03 I don't care. Get the job done. Just make something happen. But here it is. I mean, we're days away from the midterms. And as you said, now is the time to do something. November the 4th is too late. November 4th is too late. And the same people who are kind of grumpy about things, I think they'll be much grumpier and much more dissatisfied if they wake up on Wednesday morning and figure that, OK, I guess Chuck Schumer is going to come back as Senate Majority Leader and Hakeem Jeffries is going to be Speaker of the House. Maybe it'll be AOC. Maybe she'll become House Speaker. And I've just heard over the last couple of days, uh hillary clinton has been saying you know we need 13 people on the u.s supreme court so she's oh yeah gonna lead that effort uh kamala harris says yep we need dc and puerto rico as states like that'll give you four more democrat senators good luck to make getting a majority after that uh medicare for all these guys are all on board for medicare for all if you are a senior citizen now on Medicare, you know, how would you like to have suddenly 350 million people competing with you to see your doctor and enjoy all the benefits you enjoy on Medicare?
10 What's the net? What do you think? I'm sorry to interrupt you here, but really quick, because this is brought up all the time and I'm trying to come up. What's the net deficiency? With Medicare for all. I mean, we know that it's going to cost trillions of dollars, which, you know, Syed couldn't answer. You know, oh, yeah. Well, how much is that going to cost? I don't know. Who knows? Please. But even still, the impact. What's that mean? Yeah. But the impact on on the seniors right now that are relying on Medicare. I mean, are we talking about 20, 25 percent less service? I think that's a conservative number of reduction in terms of value of what Medicare, the impact that would have for Medicare for all. Well, I mean, if you just, you know, if you take the senior population, then you add in, presumably this thing passes and becomes law. And instead of just senior citizens being served by Medicare, it's now going to serve all, which is 350 million people. You know, it's just going to be that many more people competing over a limited amount of resources. And it's going to make it that much more difficult for seniors to get the care that they expect, the care they're getting now, the care to which they're entitled based on what they paid into the system.
16 And also, frankly, the care that they'll need more than others because they're older. And as you get older, you generally tend to need more medical attention. This is not going to make things any easier for seniors. And it's just going to make the wait times longer. Quality of service will probably go down. I'm sure things will have to be rationed because if you have X number of MRI machines and suddenly you have all these more people coming in and it's quote unquote free at the point of service. Well, you know, if it's free, why not? Have a lot of it. Let's get an MRI every month. Why not? Something might have changed between September and today, right? And so that means just more people competing for limited resources, which means scarcity, probably an increase in prices, rationing. And none of that is good for health care for your senior citizen, and you need it.
02 Yeah, well, lest we forget, DeRoy, and remember what Obama did. Obama crushed the medical profession. How many doctors retired? Because of Obamacare. And so that's the other thing you got to put in the equation. Not only do we have less resources, we have less doctors. And then you go Medicare for all and the doctors are going to, you know, you know, they're not going to buy into this. I mean, they didn't go for all this schooling and pay all this tuition to end up taking a serious cut in pay because they have to, you know, they've got to they've got to provide these services. Well, that's true. And I can tell you personally, I had a wonderful doctor, Dr. Keller here in New York at Mount Sinai. He was the Beth Israel back then. I'm an asthmatic and he was a pulmonologist. He was an outstanding doctor. And at one point he said, well, I'm retiring. I said, why are you retiring? He said, well, thanks to Obamacare and all the electronic medical records. He said, you know, I used to come in and talk to patients and look at patients and try to make them better. And he said, now I just sit here with a keyboard and just type stuff in. He said, you know, I started off my career as a doctor. I'm ending up my career as a stenographer, as a secretary. And I didn't sign up for this. And so a year later, he's living down in Florida playing golf, hanging out and enjoying the sunshine rather than taking care of me and making my lungs feel better. So this is one small personal example of how these lovely government programs just create complications and reduce the quality of care and insert large government programs between the patient and the doctor. And Medicare for All is going to take that and put it on steroids.
33 Yeah. And that's just one issue that we're talking about. Yeah, that's just one issue. That's not the entire DSA agenda. Right, exactly. They've got a big agenda that goes, we'll be on health care, we'll be on Medicare for all. Right. Yeah. It's I mean, welcome to the idea of shared misery. So get ready, ladies and gentlemen, assume the position, because if you don't vote or if you vote the wrong way and you don't vote, what's in the best interest of America? I mean, forget about the party. You've got to be able to consider what are your values. I mean, does the American way of life and American dream mean anything anymore? Right. Well, I like to think it does, but you put these people in and it's, it's going to be very much under pressure. I mean, you've got people like James Tallarico or Trans-Africo as I call him. He's going to be, he said that he sees the American flag as a problematic and complicated symbol. I mean, I see it as something you stand up and salute and you sing the star spangled banner. He sees the flag and thinks, Ooh, that's problematic. That's complicated.
34 It's triggered. One triggered. I'm sure he's triggered. He probably, you know, maybe breaks into tears and, bursts into tears and weeps, and not patriotic tears of joy, but tears of complication. And this is one guy running in the Senate. If he gets elected, that's, I think, going to be representative of a lot of the attitude, a lot of these DSA types that are not patriotic. I don't think they care much for the country. They see America as a big, giant, racist, warmongering, quasi-slave state. And they're there to, if they get in, they'll be in there to turn it upside down and transform it into a completely different country from the one you and I were born in, and even people were born in five or ten years ago, and not for the better, I might add. So it's all the more incumbent for people like Al Sayed in Michigan, Tallarico in Texas, Sherrod Brown in Ohio, all these other folks that they stay in the private sector. I wish them well. They can go sell real estate or go teach college classes, write books, whatever they want, but they need to be kept as far away from Capitol Hill as possible.
36 Is this really the best we can offer, DeRoy? They've had primaries that could have picked better people, and they didn't. They're the ones who decided they wanted these crazy folks in, not the people I would have supported. People, I will say this, to the Democrats' credit, they've given us a choice. You can continue the Trump free market limited government agenda, or you can put Democrats in and get something that's going to be basically American Marxism. So people have a very clear choice, and it's incumbent to go out there between now and Election Day. Time for a break. We've got more from DeRoy after this. Stay with us. This report is sponsored by IBM. As AI becomes more common in the workplace, HR leaders and employees have different views on the skills needed most. A new global study from the IBM Institute for Business Value finds that 71% of CHROs identify the ability to supervise, validate, and override AI outputs as the workforce's most essential skill. but less than one-third of employees prioritize judgment. At the same time, 60% of employees worry AI is eroding their skills, with critical thinking cited most often as declining. Aparna Nair, Chief Talent, Leadership and Culture Officer, IBM.
48 AI is reshaping the way work gets done, but uniquely human capabilities remain essential. As routine tasks become increasingly automated, CHROs play a critical role in creating an environment where people can focus on more strategic work and apply their judgment, creativity, and expertise in ways to drive meaningful impact. 40:22 I mean, you know, the polling, you know, again, you know, how these pollsters live another day is beyond me. I mean, the projections and how they, I mean, some have gotten caught being very overtly biased on this. I mean, this is something that, you know, here we talk about how sacrosanct our vote is. and the manipulation that all in the name of politics, all's fair in love and politics, right? And, you know, in the name of politics, it's like, it's okay for, you know, this kind of deception and, you know, this kind of manipulation to be taking place at the expense of our, you know, of our republic.
06 Well, this is really serious stuff. And, you know, I think we've had in the past polls where There seems to be some bias. They oversample Democrats, undersample Republicans. And you might think that's designed to skew the poll and not measure public opinion, but drive public opinion and create a result that the pollsters want. But in this year, this election, we've seen two or three instances of pollsters who outright make stuff up. They just invent polls. They fake them deliberately. And they say, well, we're just doing this as an experiment to see how gullible the press is. This is really awful stuff because a lot of these Polls, like for example, Real Clear Politics, they have the average. They'll take 10 or 12 polls, put them together, average them, and then say, okay, therefore, so-and-so's ahead, so-and-so's behind. And when you get polls that deliberately are faked, mixed in, it's like making a cake and you just throw some stale milk in, or you put in some eggs that have been sitting around for six months or something like that.
01 You're going to get just a stale result. And that's exactly what's going on here. And then you have some where, I don't know if it's deliberate or not, but you get so completely radical differences in polls. Bruce Blakeman is running against Kathy the Hack Hockel here in New York State. They just put out this morning a press release about two polls. Their internal polls done by John McLaughlin show Bruce Blakeman up by 11 points, I believe it is, with independents here in New York, which is impressive. And then the Marist poll says that he's down 10% with independents. That's a 21% gap. That's enormous. Yeah. Now, I mean, maybe one of them is maybe a little bit too high. Maybe one's a little bit too low. You're going to tell me that there's a 21% gap between where Marist says Blakeman is and where Blakeman's pollster says he is? That's just an enormous difference. So I think the whole polling thing is a big mess. Again, it says to people, or it should say to people, who knows what these polls mean? Who knows if they're accurate?
58 Who knows if they're measuring people's responses properly? Apparently, there's some people who think, hey, if I tell people I'm Voting Republican, I'll get canceled, lose my job. So let me tell the pollster I'm voting Democrat. And so you get an artificial result that way. I would not make my decision on how this country is going to be governed over the next two years in the second of two halves of the President Donald J. Trump 47 term based on the polls. The poll that counts is the poll on Election Day, November 3rd. And that's the one in which people need to participate because the polls that people give to Gallup or to Marist or to McLaughlin, whatever, those don't count. The one that counts is doesn't want to involve ballots, and that's why people need to get out and vote on Tuesday, November 3rd.
41 But you brought up something, again, that is real, and that is the weaponization of the whole process. I mean, you know, Democratic interests are out there, and people are afraid to say, I'm a Republican, or they're afraid to put a Trump sign or a Republican sign on their front yard, you fear of being, you know, harassed by neighbors and whatever. And then you got Alyssa Slotkin, you know, saying out loud that telling young people, you know, not to get involved with the Trump administration because that could be bad for you and damage your reputation and your future down the road. I mean, this is an elected official saying this to Roy. No, it is stunning.
22 And, you know, elected officials in particular should be the kind of folks who encourage young people and say, listen, it's very important If you don't have to do it, but if you want to, if you get graduate college and want to spend either part of your time or entire career in public affairs and work for politicians and help them serve the American people, that's an honorable cause, whether you're left, middle or right. I mean, I'm on the right. But if you want to go work for your Democratic congressman or senator, that's a perfectly honorable and patriotic thing to do. And usually they encourage that sort of thing. And they're happy to have young people come in and intern or, you know, work on campaigns. And she's saying, hey, if you do that for Donald J. Trump, we'll make sure your life is miserable. We're going to throw people in jail. We're going to prosecute people and essentially make people think, wow, I don't want to go to prison. Let me stay away from the Trump administration.
06 This is just disgusting. I mean this is almost like a reverse McCarthyism or something like this. I mean truly, truly horrifying. And then you've got Robert Reich saying that they're going to go after Elon Musk and his company ought to be nationalized. I mean these are really nasty, nasty people. And if they get back in power, it's not going to be, OK, we're going to do a little bit more to help the poor. Let's have a program to help the homeless. It's going to be basically let's get as many people on the right either thrown in jail or at least bankrupted from enormous legal fees. And it's one thing if somebody's committed a crime and I'd be prosecuted. OK, that's that's fine. But if it's just, OK, this person voted for Trump, this person's a conservative. Let's make sure he doesn't have any money left his bank account.
48 Make sure he's got to sell his house to pay his legal bills, as Roger Stone had to do as a former NSC. advisor Michael Flynn had to do, people who served President Trump, 45. And the whole idea is, well, let's persecute these people. If we can't actually lock them up, let's make sure that their legal bills are such that their finances are destroyed. That's the way these people operate. If they get back into any kind of power, I'm sure they'll go right back to that model, which is just horrifying. Well, they've perfected it and they've been able to get away with it. See, this is again the problem. This is what the two-party system, this is You know, what we are warned about by our first president, George Washington, warned us about partisan politics, what it would do. It would divide the country. And here we are, supposedly, the United States. And we've been living with this kind of junk, you know, almost from day one. And you think, you know, can somebody deduce here that this is not a winning cause, that if we're in disparate camps? And I mean, despair to the point that it's, you know, skins versus the shirts and who's going to win and who's going to do an end zone dance on somebody's head. You know, everybody at large is losing. We're losing as a result of this partisan politics.
00 Well, you know, I think we've always had the, you know, I'm on the elephant team here on the donkey team. And so let's have our competition. That's fine. That's OK. But where it's gone completely haywire isn't just OK. You won the election. You know, we'll we'll. oppose your principles, but we'll try to get along and maybe we compromise. Fine. Uh, now it's, uh, okay, well, uh, we're going to bankrupt you. We're going to throw you in prison if we can. And over the last couple of years, Oh, and then we're going to open fire and shoot you. And president Trump has a little bit less of his ear than he did when he was born. And Charlie Kirk is now, now lives in a casket. Uh, and we saw that, uh, United healthcare CEO, I'm not sure if you voted left wing, right wing or Republican or Democrat, but certainly as a healthcare CEO, uh, Luigi Mangione allegedly said he didn't like that and then decided to put a bullet in his back, and he's now dead. So it's gone well beyond just the sort of skins and shirts. It's now open combat.
54 And I think if the Democrats get back in, you're going to see more of that kind of thing, and it's going to be ugly and nasty. It's not going to be just, okay, let's be a little nicer to the poor people. I wish we were dealing with those kinds of people, the old-style liberals who just wanted to spend some money and try to make people a little more comfortable. These people are vindictive. These people are nasty. These people are neo-Marxists. And I think they are increasingly comfortable with political violence. So I don't think there's anything positive about that outcome. And there's all the more reason for them to be kept to the private sector where their damage will be limited. Well, but when you project it out, DeRoy, I mean, you could really end up with something that could ignite You know, some real craziness because psychologically, the experts will say, you know, America, well, any normal human being cannot live with this kind of insanity. And we have been tempting and dancing with insanity for the last decade, at least, you know, with, you know, trans, the whole trans movement, green energy, the things that have been perpetrated on the American people, January 6th and on and on. And, you know, it's just it's just nuts. And, you know, something's got to give at some point. And I guess we're we're both kind of warning everybody is that, you know, if we don't cut our losses and do something about it now and we lose. this even get further out of control, I mean, this could be a hot mess. And this
25 is on the heels of these latest crime statistics. I don't know if you've seen this, but I mean, we're at record numbers in terms of law and order in our country. which is, you know, I think that's a good indication, but we need more of that, not less. Well, you're correct about that. One of the big successes, one of the big victories of President Trump and the Republicans over the last couple of years is the tremendous decrease in crime. As you mentioned, our homicide rate in this country right now is at the lowest it's been since 1900, the lowest in 125 years, which is really amazing. And a lot of it is a combination of taking violent Illegal alien criminals, members of cartels, members of violent gangs like MS-13 and others and kicking them out of the country. That's a big part of it. Secondly, the Department of Justice is focused on getting prosecutors, U.S. attorneys to fight crime. We've also got people like George Gascon, who lost in Los Angeles County. He was the county DA and or L.A. district attorney. His whole thing was, hey, if you're arrested, let's get you back on the streets.
28 You can return to your crime career. He was voted out of office a couple of years ago and the police have been encouraged and they've been arresting more criminals and that's been a big help. And the law enforcement in many places now are focused on actually fighting criminals rather than doing DEI and focusing on racial stuff and equity and social justice, et cetera. And they're about, okay, law and order, those three words. And all that really has led to a very, very dramatic decrease in crime. So if you want to see more policies like that, you need to get the polls and do what you need to do because if the Democrats get back in They're going to go back to the old model of, you know, let's be nice to the criminals, set them free, let them loose. Everything will be great. And that doesn't work. And usually when we learn that lesson, unfortunately, people getting robbed and raped and even more tragically killed.
14 Well, it's very important. Everybody get out to vote. And I don't know if you've heard about this website, DeRoy, as we wrap things up, it's called friends, help friends, vote.com. What you do is you go to this website and it will take your contact list and, uh, send your friends, get out the vote message. And it's real simple. You just friendshelpfriendsvote.com and you can leverage your one vote to multiple votes by getting your friends, making sure you get them off the couch, out of their homes and into the voting booth, right? That's a great idea. I was not aware of that. Well, America, we've got a country to save. He's the Manhattan-based Fox News contributor, DeRoy Murdoch. Thank you, DeRoy. Take care.
