I'm Bill Martinez, and our guest is doctor Nizamasagi, who joins us now that has a most incredible story to share with us, not to mention his new book, Passport to Freedom. Doctor Missagi. Welcome, Michelle. Good to have you with us. It's my pleasure to be here. Bill. I'm a big fan. Thank you so much for Well, that's very kind of you. You've born an American citizen raised under Iran's theocracy, and of course this is all outlined in your book Past Support to Freedom, from Tehran to Triumph.

I decided that this story needs to be told because it is an American dream story at heart, and it is also very timely for the story like this to be heard in an environment of so many voices competing, where the Iran's story, the true story has lived experience, might be lost. Yeah, without a doubt. I mean your book the title is really the title for much of Tehran. You know, fellow citizens who have been living under an oppressive government. I mean even now, I mean I've heard numbers forty fifty thousand slaughtered than the streets. We spoke with a gentleman from Israel who was therein on the ground. He says, build the numbers more like in excess of eighty thousand.

1:45 It's hard enough to get your brain around forty thousand people being murdered in the streets, much less eighty thousand. Doctor, That's exactly right. You're referring to the massacre that occurred early in January of this year alone. There was a popular rising where people by the millions were on the street demanding their basic rights, freedoms, right to self determination, and the regime just from higher ups decided to open fire. There was fire at will, orders that came from the highest levels of government. It was very coordinated across hundreds of cities, and they shut off the internet so none of the protesters could communicate with each other in different cities. And next thing you know, there was rivers of blood on Tehran and Tabriz and Shiraz and YaST streets all across the country of Iran.

2:39 Wow, this is incredible, and of course we hear sadly and I've been praying for this young woman who is about to be executed as well. And this is quite shocking up here on the West. We don't understand how women are mistreated anyway there under this regime. But it's actually when it comes time for them to execute you, I guess all part of the process is a woman has to be gang right before she's murdered. It is such a difficult thing to speak of, but it is necessary to mention these things that under the Iran is essentially an Islamist state. It is run by people who came to power under the guise of a revolution and change after the toppling of the Shah in nineteen seventy nine, and soon after it became very clear that those who rose to power were going to run with these antediluvian laws that belong to a different time, the Sharia laws, their version of Islam, which is admittedly different than Islam in a lot of other places, nonetheless very extremist, and the idea that somehow very may go to heaven if executed is the basis for what you just stated. That it gives them the authority to create

4:10 these fake temporary marriages where their own agents get to violate these women and then subsequently execute them. And this is not something that just happened as a tool for repression in these days where the uprising had happened. Again, this has happened throughout their history forty seven years of brutality that they've had. We had in the nineteen eighties, very similar stories with political prisoners, especially women receiving this kind of treatment, and the raping of political prisoners is not limited to women either. We've had situations where at Cahrie Zact Detention Center, young men and bottles of coke were used to violate them, to embarrass them, and to create difficulties, some of them requiring surgery for repair rectal injuries.

5:09 Doctor Sum Again, this is the worst of humanity left up to its own own ideas, that this has run amok. And I believe, you know, maybe this is all part of the judgment. And I don't mean necessarily to throw it immediately into some kind of spiritual term, but you know, my faith tells me that we serve a just God, and God will only tolerate this historically when we look at it for a set period of time, although this has been forty seven years, and you know, all Iranians, all of God's creation, are his children. And I believe that maybe this is miss Maybe this is the final straw, you know, quite possibly, and if it is, this is a total blessing of God that the children of Iran would would appreciate and embrace freedom again, because they had freedom before. Even though with the shaw I understand in the latter years that got a little got a little wacky there, but nothing like what happened when the Eye Toota came in. And just as you said, and as others have told me, Bill, you know, we were told a certain thing, you know that what this is, how it was going to happen. And of course, slowly but surely, the whole orientation got adjusted and it became, as you say,

6:40 very doctrinal. Right. Absolutely, history shows us that oppression will not stand forever. This will end one way or another, and I hope with minimal bloodshed and with a transition to a society that can reclaim it's right place in the international community. The Iranian people are very significantly against this regime. I cannot speak for everyone, but I can tell you that the vast majority are not standing with this level of brutality and aggression and this ideological warfare that has been going on that not only affects them, but has been affecting the region, and even within Iranian mythology, within Persian literature, you read stories of people like this that come to power, and you look for the opportunity for a savior, for a warrior to write and bring the people together and allow them to overthrow and for them to reclaim their freedoms and their rights to self determination. And we have so many stories to tell, and I feel that those stories are there to give us inspiration so that we understand that such systems cannot last forever. It is a very difficult situation now in Iran because since the beginning of this war, the Islamic Republic has certainly become weakend militarily,

8:16 but it has become more ideologically hardline, and it has begun a wave of executions, a wave of arrests, a wave of checkpoint and harassment of citizens on the street. Imagine, if you're just going to get groceries, they could at a checkpoint hold you up, ask you to open up your phone. They would look at your pictures, your deleted folders, your messages, and if you've sent any information, just simple photography of a missile strike site could be akin to a crime for which you can be arrested and tried for such ridiculous charges as waging war against God or assisting enemy states. And so it is an incredibly difficult situation that currently for the people has even worsened. And perhaps the people are still very hopeful that significant change is coming and this is their last effort, but we don't know how many there are and how much power they have left on how soon there will be defections within their ranks to stop this level of brutality.

He's also the chairman of the board for the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, where human rights abuses in the Islamic Republic are investigated, verified and documented. As I mentioned, doctor Nissam is the author of multiple articles in Persian and English that focus on human rights and Iran related matters. Doctor Nissam, I like you, I think that this is all coming to a head. And it's clear, just as you said, the oppression has seemed to intensify all the more as it would appear that the IRGC, the leadership of Iran, the iatola is is kind of with the actions that they're taking.

14:51 These are actions of desperate people, are they not? Absolutely? You know, they always say that every dictatorship looks strong until the last ten to fifteen minutes, and so the hope is that they have been significantly weekend. The big question. Always is you have to follow the money. Are they still paying these repressive forces or has there been a significant disruption of the banking system all of that to not pay them, because once you do that, the defections may accelerate. And I feel that and I hope that this is happening, that through some back channels, perhaps some people within the system are being offered amnesty in exchange for information and in exchange for assisting with defections, so that the system can crumble inwardly as fast as possible, Because it's not only good for the Iranian people who are brutalized, but it's also good for the world, the region that's been destabilized by a regime that from the get go, from the very inception of it had an expansionist ideology, from the very inception of it attacked the US embassy and it held at first over sixty and later fifty two American workers of the embassy hostage, as you know, for four hundred and forty four days. That shows from the very beginning they had Bellako's policies to begin.

16:17 And even the Iran Iraq War that shortly after that began and took a million lives, that lasted for eight years, was through the provocations of Ayatola Romani trying to get the Shias in Iraq to rise up against the Bath Party, and that's how that war started. So so many wars that have been invited by the Islamic Republic. So when you hear out there in the media that people say, wow, this was a war of choice, one thing that we have to be very clear of is that this is the war of choice by the Islamic Republic. That the Islamic Republic invites wars through arming proxies, through inciting violence, and through provocations in the region.

16:59 And the world. Well, and as you mentioned the proxies, I mean, it's almost like you've got the same model that's occurring, whether it's the Gaza which is still controlled by Hamas about forty five percent of it. It was the last report that I've received. You've got what's going on in Iran, also in Lebanon, but it seems that the power structure of Lebanon is saying we want Hesbela out of here. You know, it's created too much havoc and now you've got to cease fire, which is something Iran asked for as part of the negotiations currently, they wanted to cease fire between Israel and Hesbelah. And it seems that some things could be moving in a positive direction here. But in either case, whether it's Iran, Hamas Hesbela, the hoodies, thank god, have been quiet. They've kept their head down. But this is a root issue that needs to be that needs to be dug out and dug out deep in which you had kind of referred to earlier, because you can't allow any part of this kind of aided ideology to reconstitute itself. Which isn't to say that you'll get one hundred percent out of it, but you've got to get as much of the route out of there as possible.

18:11 Right, absolutely, and I think within the Iranian society because the dissatisfaction with this regime is so significant that when it's adequately weekend and when the repressive forces have defected, there will be opportunities for the people uprising and taking over institutions. I think this will happen. It's bound to happen. But as you. Mentioned on the Lebanese story, perhaps a lot of the listeners may not notice that the Hesbo Law Force, it's a paramilitary force within Lebanon that receives hundreds of millions of dollars per year from the Islamic Republic in Iran to be standing and operating. It is larger than the Lebanese military itself. Yes, imagine as much as the islam Republic in Iran says, well, no foreign intervention, we don't believe this. Nobody should do that to us. They are doing it themselves to the Lebanese. They have taken the entire country of Lebanon hostage with Hezbolah. So many wars have been invited by Hebolah into Lebanese territory that the Lebanese people never asked for, and they are hundreds of thousands of people strong, a paramilitary force stronger than the forces within Lebanon itself, and that's a huge stabilization force that is in there, and it's never been quite dealt with other than just some skirmishes. Well you throw some rockets, we're going to, you know, resist, and Israel has its

19:43 right to defend itself and the situation escalates. But they've always said this, the head of the octopus is in Tehran, and so there's been an attempt to significantly diminish it. But for now they're digging in and they're using economic power and pain to the world as a leverage to try to bring the war to an end. For them, it's all about survival. As long as the war comes to an end and they are still in power, they'll consider that a win. And so for us, the removal would be the win. And so it's kind of a battle of unequals. Well, what is the vision? What do you see happening?

20:23 Let's say, you know, two three years from now in Iran? First, what do you see happening here? Because it looks like a regime change is inevitable. I don't know how Iran can go on under this current leadership. Like you said, if somehow the war ends and they're still in power, they're going to say they won and they'll reconstitute. We know that. Yeah, So it's very hard to predict and speculate, unfortunately, and these circumstances, the situation is very fluid. The Islamic Republic has shut down the Internet now are going on for nearly fifty days straight. Imagine that a lot of people's businesses and people's ability to communicate both within and to the outside world has been very severely hampered. And so part of the worry is what if this goes towards creating another North Korea like state where people are completely shut out from the rest of the world and unable to communicate. I think that's an unlikely scenario because the Iranian people have already known had a taste of what it's like to engage with the world, be engaged with the Internet. The Iranian people are very significantly democratic as far as their values, and the Iranian people are also very significantly secular. While I cannot speak for the majority of Iranians from what I see, and we've been reviewing a lot of things that come through back channels, like some telegram messaging and whatnot. You see what the people have been talking about. A lot of the people

21:53 within Iran, especially the youth, have called the name of the former crown Prince as a transitional leader to come help. That would be Reza Pahlavi that they have significant trust in and he is a name that cannot be confiscated like other slogans that they had previously said by the Islamic Republic as a significant change and shift from them. And you don't see religious conversations and terminology, especially used by the young population that are very significantly secular, and so the system cannot be farther from the people, and so something's got to give. How it's going to happen, in my opinion is the Western intervention has significantly weakened them and so it's up to the Iranian people to finish the job. But I feel that they have to have some assurances that they will have some support, perhaps air support, where if they were to take to the streets they would not be slaughtered again. And so if an opportunity like this happens, I think that we may see a free Iran and Iran that would potentially contry so much to the world economy and to knowledge and to innovation.

23:05 My goodness, can you imagine, I mean the whole global I mean, this would have an impact on the entire globe, you know, because you know, it just would. It would, because it would just be And that's what we hope and pray for. Now. With the Crown Prince, I know his name comes up, there's still mixed emotions because I hear also from Iran they're not looking for another monarchy, you know that they really want to secure, you know, some form of democracy, but possibly the Crown Prince because he's the noted name and it could be that transformational figure that gets them to where ultimately the people of Iran want to be.

23:45 Is that what you see? Yeah, he himself has also said I am not seeking the throne. It is up to the Iranian people. I feel that my job is to be a leader of a transitional government and he as he has online resources where you can see his team and the plans that they have for the first ninety up to one hundred and eighty days. And the final goal of this transitional government is to bring Iran to a referendum, a referendum that is seen and overseen by outside agencies that are independent to ensure that there's no corruption in it, and then have the people speak. And he himself has said my vote is for a republic. He's said this multiple times.

24:34 And the idea is that even if the people were to choose something like a constitutional monarchy, it would not be far away from democratic ideals because. We have so many countries in the world that are like that. Nonetheless, if the will of the people is to simply have a constitution and a republic that's representative of the will of the people, that would already be a success. Whether or not there is a king or not, I think is a complete irrelevance at this point. What is very relevant is that we need to have that transition to occur with an authority to lead us to a referendum for the people to speak. First of all, I want to talk about it. I ran because it's it's in the headlines, and you know, we've got negotiations underway. You know, we're praying that it all goes well. But this is a group of people that only know about war, and it seems now that the military has full control of you know, of Iran and these negotiations and the IRGC as you have had, you and I have discussed before. They're not going to just set down there. You know, their weapons. I mean, they don't know about that. This is a death cult and this is going to be a fight to the finish.

30:36 So I believe America psychologically has to prepare itself for the fact that Donald Trump and the Secretary of War have got to go in and. Finish the job, right, Yeah, they have to go finish a job. And the American people are actually with us on that. We pulled on that back in February right after the attack happened, and the majority of Americans agreed that because American lives lives ultimately are at risk and people Americans have already died because of Iran, want we want it finished so that more Americans do not die. And John McLaughlin used that same question recently in polling again and this time in the April polling. I guess we did it, and you know, we did it in February.

31:22 He did it in April, and it's still the American public is still there with us with the exact same questions we use before. They want the job finished. It needs to finish. They've killed I think over one thousand Americans over the last forty nine years. It's too many. They do not need to be doing that. And you're right, they are a deaf cult, and this is they've grown up. They've just been so completely indoctrinated in that that they only respond to one kind of language, and that is a language of. Force, right. And this is a percentage like anything, you know, any kind of totalitarian ruling regime, it's a small percentage of people, you know, compared to everybody else. And especially when Iran has no way to defend itself, this is why they've sustained losses. I mean, I'm hearing Jenny Beth.

32:14 I know people in the mainstream media are quoting numbers like forty fifty thousand, but I'm hearing from Iran itself that over eighty thousand people have been mowed down. It's just disgusting. And then there was a woman here in this past week, and this was shocking to hear what they do with these women when they murder them, you know, when they've been convicted of, you know, being against the government like that wrestler. But the women especially, they violate them in ways you can't even imagine. I mean, it's so barbaric. I mean, these are the kind of people that we're up against. And meanwhile, you've got Democrats like Chris Murphy who are kind of cheering on you know, Iran, like you know, the straight of horror moves. There's something that didn't happen there, according till hoil or Away was reported, and he was just elated that there was some report that would make our military and our president look bad.

33:11 Yeah, it's Bill. It's so frustrating. This is not how we're supposed to react when America is at war. You're not supposed to cheer the loss of American life. You're not supposed to cheer the loss. Of American military or because in that sense, you're encouraging. And cheering the loss of your own country. When President Obama got the person that got Osama bin Laden, that happened under President Obama's watch, I wasn't upset about that. I was thankful. It didn't matter that it was Obama who I disagreed with on ninety eight percent of maybe even ninety nine point nine percent of domestic policy is use. That's a slight exaggeration. I'm sure there was some more agreement than that, but.

34:05 I disagreed with him on almost all domestic policy situations. But I still when he did that and he got Osama bin Laden, that was something I could be thankful for as an American because of what happened. On nine to eleven. I didn't let my anger towards the president on domestic policies cloud my judgment on what's best for our country when enemies want to kill us and Bill, I've always been very careful not to use the freeze enemies against my political opposition here in America, because I think that America has only one set of enemies, and those are the enemies from foreign from foreigners, from foreign countries, from foreign.

34:54 Entities who wish us dead. That's what I think of when I think of an enemy, and I am very careful about it, and and I do that so that I remember the people who I disagree with, who I live in the country with. They're the people I have to still be able to get along with because they're my fellow countrymen. And it's a mental. It's the mental exercise, if you will, to just make sure I'm keeping my focus where it should be. And I'm not dehumanizing and not over exaggerating the people with whom I disagree. Who live next door to me. And I think I'm not perfect. I make all sorts of mistakes.

35:37 I think it is something many who are involved in politics would benefit if they use. That same rule. Now, sometimes an email may slip out, or a social media post may slip out somewhere along the way that one of our team members wrote that accidentally uses that word. But we do our very best not. To use that. And I think mostly and this is probably a discipline more that happens on the right. And I'm like you, I try to withhold you know, this description of left and right and Democrats and Republicans. You know, I think of American and of course what American are anti American.

36:18 And this is what Justice Thomas was referring to here recently when he talked about progressivism, that it is an ideology that wants to counter our constitution. Well, you still have to identify, okay, who's on our side and by our side, I'm talking about who is who still believes in the American dream and the American idea and clearly living amongst us, we have people that have abandoned that and they really I mean, here we are on the verge of celebrating our two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, Jenny Beth, we have so much to be thankful for, and we have people who are doing their best undermine you know, this president and the policies that what he's been able to do in the first year are just short of miraculous.

37:09 Yeah, they truly are short of miraculous. You're you are right that there are people who are undermining it. They're ignoring what he's done. They don't want to acknowledge what he's done. And the only way, generally speaking, the way you become eligible for TPS is to already be an illegal immigrant. So people are like coming illegally to the country and then they're they're getting this automatic designation, well not automatic, but they're applying for TPS, and they say, I am from Haitia, a Haiti, and we've got this this awful earthquake that happened sixteen years ago.

47:01 It's like nobody even there even remembers it. It's like it's so it's bizarre. But the that the sad thing is, uh, it's the lack of imagination. Bill. People can't imagine that that that we now that we have these cheap, cheap workers, and you know, there are a lot in the healthcare industry of the Haitians and they do a very good job. No one I'm complaining about them, but this just is more Americans that can't get those jobs. Now, now, I just want to say this one thing and Mark Warner, Senator Mark Warner, who's uh, you know, kind of a moderate Democrat, and we're really very actually we're very thinking about him and his family, very sad, and he had a he had a daughter that uh that passed away this week from diabetes.

Very recently, he said on an interview that hey, uh, college graduates there that that that thirty percent of the jobs may be taken by AI in the in the near future. So he was warning college graduates don't count on a job. And now in Warner, and Warner knows what he's talking about. I mean, you're talking. He's he's a former tech entrepreneur, so he understands what's going on here in the trajectory right. Right, And he was talking he said, he was talking to industry executives throughout you know, American industry, and they just said, hey, look this, somehing's going to eat up these lower end jobs like help desk, et cetera.

48:34 You know, it's it's like so so squeezed. So American workers are squeezed on two ends. The jobs that are like maybe entry level jobs for college graduates, AI is going to gobble them up, says Warner. And then we know with things like this TPS thing for Haitians and other groups. So we've got you know, more than a million people from various countries that are here on kind of permanent semi where they're. It's legal status. They got here illegally. And so American workers are getting pushed out of low end jobs, better entry level college type jobs. And meanwhile, the amounts of American workers, especially American men who are a prime age in the in the workforce, that are have a job or seeking a job, has gone down, down, down for sixty years in a row.

49:29 Right, you see. And then the college it's not only that, then they're carrying one hundred thousand dollars in tuition debt. And it's no wonder this idea of socialism seems appealing to them. Right, It's like everyone's rigged the system. People make promises if you go and you get this degree, then you're going to have a middle class life. And yet they not only don't have a middle class life, they can't even get a job. So and yet there's no way to get out of that college debt. And the government has done this to them. Jim, Yeah, I mean that's the deal. The government has done this to them by allowing for these things and not even you know, looking at you know, how this is going to play out. And here's Warner, a Democrat senator who sees it, and he's throwing up the alert to everybody.

50:16 But you know, he can say, well, I told you about it fifteen years ago. Yeah, but what did you do about it? Yeah? Well, there's the problem. The it's it's like, as we've talked about many, many times, Bill, it's America is hooked on cheap labor. And so George Meenie, who founded the afl CIO, the labor union all those years ago, he said, you know, if you pay bicycle wages, you're going to have a bicycle economy. And truer words never said. Right. And yet the whole, the whole might and thrust of American industry has been to bid down labor, bid down labor, pay as little as possible, first hint of trouble, lay off all the workers. We got to have some loyalty in this country, don't you think, Bill?

51:07 Yeah? But again, looking at it holistically, Jim, you know, businesses are being bombarded with regulation, costs, taxes and all this other. See, so all this puts pressure and so you know what Trump is trying to address is to liberate these businesses, get these regulations out of there, give them some relief. I mean, here it is, we get that we passed the big beautiful bill, right, and here's American citizens have this windfall. I mean, the income returns, the money that they're getting is you know, they're high fiving. I mean, they're able to go out to dinner again and enjoy themselves a little bit. And then in some of the blue states, these governors and the local legislators are going, wait a minute, you can't have that money. That's our money, you know what I mean. I mean it sounds silly, It sounds silly, but that's the way they think. I mean, I came for I grew up in California. I grew up with this all the time, and it took me a number of years to finally realize. They go, no wonder.

52:05 I mean, at every turn, whether it's the price of gas and everything is all reflected the cost of living in California. Because of the uniparty, the Democratic Party that controls that state, they've destroyed it. Yeah. Well, and then the thing that Trump could do easily and or could have done easily, maybe it's a little harder to getting near the midterms. But he hasn't done is get Congress to pass mandatory everify Yes, every US employer, you don't have to round people up if they can't get a job. A lot of times they'll just go home. Right, Yeah, they'll self deport, you know, but you have to give them a reason and let them know where the door is and how they can exit. You don't have to pay him money.

52:51 Right, No, right, A lot of times. I mean we if we provide them a plane ticket home, which we do, it's it's if they can't get a job, they're gonna remember, you know. Actually when I left Columbia ten years ago, there were no jobs. But I've getting some reports there's some you know, things a little better there. Maybe I can get a job there, and people, hey, people are going home. It's just they would go home a lot faster and more readily without coercion if they just couldn't get. A job here. So I don't know, Well, I guess it's it's it's some businesses lobbying to because they want illegal labor. This is the thing. Even a lot of these Republican state governments, as you know, Bill, shamefully, they want illegal labor because everyone nobody wants to pay pay money for something theing get for near free. Yeah, it's it's the same. It's the same low human impulse that got a slavery, uh to the Civil War. It's like, uh, now a lot of people knew it was wrong, but they said, oh, but I just can't afford to get out of it.

53:53 Well yeah, they're so far into it they don't know how to get out of it. But that's why you've got to incentivize the right behavior. You do, you do either verify and you give relief to these bit to say, okay, look at there's going to be some adjustments some of these regulations that have been killing your bottom line. We're going to get rid of these regulations. I mean Trump was massive. I mean he attacked the regulations when in his first administration he used to say for everyone, we're going to get rid of ten. And I think it got up. You know, according to one of the experts inside the administration, Peter Navarro told me, he says, Bill, it was we were getting rid of eighteen regulations for every new one and so and still Trump is still considered about that. But again, you know, this whole idea you verify regulations, regulatory costs for businesses. All these things have to be considered, and there's got to be a meeting of the minds in business to say, look at get this out of your mind about cheap labor.

People have to decide because a lot of them are realizing that you can't beat the first in the world businesses around the world with just the bottom of the barrel labor. Yes, we have we have a great educational system here. We've got the trained workers here. Why on the sideline to bring in people who who really are not even in a developed country, they're not from adul country, they don't have first world skills. We've got them here. Yeah. Plus plus the work ethic itself, right, I mean you go to Europe and these people, oh, we're going to take a whole month off. I mean, that's unheard of here in America. Take an entire month off, I don't think so. You know, well, unless unless you work for the government, then you can take a whole month off.

55:41 By some measures, America is the hardest working people in the world that in terms of work hours worked, a lot of us, like standard Measures, were the most productive workers in the world. So, uh, that means we do it the best of anyone. So we don't need people just to come in so we can hirem a quarter cheaper. But they don't. They weren't raised in that culture, that the American work culture. So I don't know. It's sometimes people are their own worst enemies and really built. This is why we need a government because sometimes doing the right thing is just hard to do and people aren't willing to take that set by themselves. So you need a government, But you. Need a government that leads by example and does the right thing themselves. If they do the right thing, then we will, you know, we'll follow. But if you're cheating and stealing and committing fraud and everything, guess what.

And so this matters because your children are priceless. This matters because your body is the most valuable thing that you have. You can get a new car, but you can't get a new body. And so before you make a healthcare decision that could be permanently devastating or lethal, you need to know all the risk and the benefits. So get informed. And so for parents making decisions, they can go to the FDA package insert website for any vaccine and it'll list online it'll list the contraindications. Everybody that should not get this shot because it could be lethal, it could be permanently disabling.

But it's also the other day I went to CVS pharmacy and I asked the pharmacist, would you please give me the package insert for the COVID shot. He said yes, but I'll need it back because I use it all the time. He was from another country, by the way, oh wow, and so he had a strong accent, but very very kind guy. And so he handed me the package insert after he went to the refrigerator. On it says in bold letters, intentionally blank. It's glued shot. I open it up and it's blank, a two foot by three foot piece of paper, blank both sides, except it says intentionally blank in one spot.

1:15:03 I showed that to him, and I says, this is what you use all the time. It's redacted. It's still twenty in April twenty twenty six. They are still making sure they move the merchandise off the shelf before it expires. Of the past Maderna shots is what that was, which is Bill Gates, who is documented on a major morning TV show on mainstream media to say, concerning the COVID shots, this is the best investment I ever made. Does that sound like someone who's following the science or is that some or does that fit with the saying follow the money.

1:15:43 I may follow the money easily, no doubt about this is you know, and you bring up a good point I hadn't even thought about it, is that all these COVID vaccines that are on the shelf expiring. You know, it's a wonder they don't start having a two for one sale. They're pushing it all the time. I think probably we will see that soon, a two for one sale. I'm just guessing that you're probably being I think that's inspiration, because it's all about moving the merchandise. Of course, and it's all about the money. Follow the money. And so I challenge anybody to go to a CBS pharmacy right now and ask for the COVID shot package insert and see if you're getting the one that they're trying to move before it expires, that is that still has a package insert that's intentionally blank. And you know what a package inserts do. They are used by doctors and nurses and pharmacists all the time it has the latest risk, the benefits, who should get it, who should not get it, that's contraindications, the ingredients, the results of the studies of the different possible complications. You know, just for the MMR, the measles, mumps and rubella shot, that's that's live viruses. Nobody's told that those are live measles viruses.

1:17:00 Those are live mumps viruses, and those live measles viruses in the vaccine can cause transverse myelitis paralysis from the waist down, from the neck down for some people. It can cause death. It can cause encephalitis, inflammation of the brain. It can cause idiopathic thrombodic purpora, and autoimmune type of reaction where your plately count drops and you're in a deadly situation. These things are documented on those package inserts for the MMR vaccine, which was out a long time ago, but for the COVID shots it's still in twenty twenty six intentionally blank. Right, that's amazing. You know, doctor b speaking of the measles in part of the hearing with RFK Junior. You know, some of these congress folks were trying to beat him up and justify vaccines because of the outbreak of measles.

1:17:56 But I thought it was quite interesting that they didn't even bring in to the discussion the fact that we had open borders and twenty million plus immigrants coming into our country with god knows what. So, Bill, you make an excellent point. Did you know tuberculosis has just skyrocketed in the United States in the last five years. Tuberculosis doesn't have a vaccine. There's no vaccine for that. How did that happen. It's not because of anti vaxers. It's not because of RFK junior. It's because of twenty million variables that walked in on two feet that were not vetted, that they weren't checked to see if they had vaccines, and also they weren't vetted to see if they had disease. Yes, and so we have an increase in polio and an increase in tuberculosis.

1:18:45 I think that's the classic example, if you'll look at that, because it's it doesn't matter whether you're vaccinated or not, because there's no vaccine. But it still has doubled in many cities in many states. And so how does that happen? Is it because of RFK? I don't think so. No, I think that it's very clear that the messaging and propaganda are just basically infomercials by the senators who have been bought. There are senators. If you'll look at uh see OpenSecrets dot org. Uh, you'll see who has. Donated to their campaigns. Oh. By the way, we mentioned last show that I was on. That our our chiefs to the White House is a former lobbyist who who doled out billions millions of dollars to congressmen and senators while in her role.

1:19:38 Uh to uh, what is that about? In other countries we call that, we call that bribery in other countries, but it's called lobbying here. And so they're they're wanting something for their investment. When you give millions of dollars to Bernie Sanders to other senators, that are harassing RFK, who didn't get a penny by the way, from these lobbyists. And so he's not he doesn't have a conflict of interest. They have at least a conference a conflict of interest that's actually a real medical legal term, conflict of interest. And yet and yet they're gonna harass RFK, who wants to make America, happy, happy again, healthy again.

1:20:19 And so I just got to say, it's a joke. It's a kangaroo court, it's a circus. Every time they get together. They should leave him alone so he can keep making a difference. He is making a difference right without a doubt. I mean, and you see whether it's you know RFK Junior, uh Donald Trump. I mean, go down through the cabinet of Trump's administration. You don't have a lot of this quid pro quote junk lobbying, interaction and infiltration is going on. I mean, I do have a chief of staff for President Trump who was a former lobbyist. She was actually a fighter of a lobbyist firm. And so while the the Texas Attorney General was Susan is suing Pfizer because people had died, people had been injured, and he said, it's false, it's misleading advertising to say that your shot is ninety five percent effective. All of us laugh when we hear ninety five percent effective for a Pfizer COVID shot.

1:21:17 And so that was an obvious no brainer. But Susie Wiles was in business relationship with Pizer during that time. While the Attorney General of Texas was actually standing up for the people of Texas. What was she doing? Was she standing up for the people of Texas. No, she was standing up for a multi billion dollar corporation. That's the reason is Pfizer with a PF. That's not a usual that's a German influence. And so you can see there are international corporations that are multi billion dollar corporations that have bought many of the Senators and congressmen. And RFK is not bought and he wants to America healthy again. And there are people within the White House, within the White House that are that have a past relationships that didn't disappear the day they stepped in over the threshold into the White House to help pick who's gonna be the CDC director exactly, pick who's gonna who's gonna tell r FK what to do and what he can't do. And yet RFK is still making a difference.

We've got Susan Hedlin going to be joining us, who's the director of Supportive Care Initiative at the Sherry and Less Biller Family Foundation. And also Camille capp is a four year triple negative breast cancer survivor who has got an incredible story to share with us as we talk about surviving and sharing the emotional and economic challenges that family space. Let me start with you, Susan, what are the biggest challenges in navigating the cancer care system?

1:27:11 Thanks for having us LV. My background is as an oncology social worker, and one of the things that I think is so palpable these days is that cancer care has become so complex and not only are there more treatment options available, but navigating the healthcare system in general is so challenging and so in addition to the fear that understandably comes with a cancer diagnosis, there's so many decisions that need to be made about treatment, where to get your care, how to get your care, And then other challenges are navigating health insurance, the financial out of pocket costs that can be really exorbitant, but importantly also dealing with the emotional psychological fallout the cancer diagnosis, not only for the person with cancer, but everyone who loves.

Exactly, And I was going to transition to Camille real quick just based on what you said, yes, and you added that component is that in the midst of dealing with the logistical elements of dealing with the diagnosis and your treatment, then oh yeah, my mind is having all kinds of fun with me as I'm dealing and realizing that I'm a warrior. Right, yeah, for sure. And life doesn't stop so you can fight for your life. Life keeps going and throwing things at you. And honestly, cancer affects every aspect of your life. So not only are you like Knuckles, you know, Baard, fighting this disease so you can live, but you're also depleted from energy and mental strength to deal with everything that life keeps throwing at you.

1:28:54 Right. And meanwhile, as you say, you got family around you and they're wondering, Okay, what's going on? How do we respond, how do we encourage you for what you're dealing with, because there's only so much that we can relate to, right because you're the one. Right and when you're the mom, you're there to help life continue for everybody else and you're just doing your best to survive yourself. So about nine or ten months into my cancer diagnosis, I had a real low point. This way. I was done with my five months of chemotherapy, I was done with my double mespectomy. I was still doing oral chemo and immunotherapy, but I was struggling.

1:29:40 With mental depression really for the first time in my life. And it was not just cancer. It was mostly cancer, but it was also strange relationships in my family and other things that were happening because of cancer. And so when I approached my oncologist and said, hey, you can you recommend somebody I can talked to as a therapist that has experienced with cancer patients, and he's like, no, but I could prescribe you something if you feel like you want something, And I was like, I think, actually, that's part of the problem is I have so many chemicals in my body right now. And so I struggled on for several more months, and I tried to find resources on my own, but wasn't super successful with the things that I found. And it wasn't until my nurse oncologist was accessing my port one day and I said, I am just really struggling. She was the breast cancer survivor herself, and I said, I AM just really struggling mentally, and she told me about Survivor Healthcare that had resources for cancer patients, supportive care for cancer patients. That I had been there the entire time, but at this point, I was fourteen months after my diagnosis that I finally.

1:30:58 Heard about him. This sounds like a typical story, huh. Sadly, it's become all too common, and it just breaks my heart when I hear a Kimille's story, because there is help out there, but you know, leaving the poor person who's going through all this to find it on their own, I think is really difficult because they're already, you know, as you said, getting through each day, trying to be a mom, trying to continue to get through your treatment, and wanting help but not knowing where to find it. And so that's one of the reasons that our Supporter is Care campaign has been launched is with the hope that people won't have to struggle by themselves.

1:31:47 Well, what Camille points out here, I mean I took mental note immediately when she said the doctor said, well, I'll give you something whatever you think you need. She's a patient. What do you know that you need or you don't need? Right? I mean to me, I mean, with all due respect, I mean it's kind of a goofy question. I think, well, and I think the other thing, as I was mentioning, because cancer care has become so much more complex and just keeping up with the sheer volume of data that is coming through with research and all the immune therapies and the breakthroughs. Doctors have a hard time keeping up with it all. And I'm a real believer and a team of approach to all of this so that they don't have to be doing it all by themselves. But just as Kimille said, so many patients say, I don't want one more drug.

1:32:39 I love help getting through this, right right? Yeah? And I didn't mean to come across disrespectful towards the doctors. I understand. One of my best friends, I grew up with as a doctor, and they're you know, they are beyond whelmed. You know, they're not even overwhelmed anymore. They're beyond that in dealing with all kinds of things. So sometimes a question may may come across insensitive. And I apologize if I even took that statement in an insensitive sort of way. It's just that I didn't take it that way at all. Okay, Well, well I'm a yeah, I'm a cancer survivor myself, so you know, as you go through the process, so I understand. So I have I have a lot of compassion Camille for what what you've had to go through.

1:33:23 But but I was on the dad's side. I wasn't on the mom's side. I mean, I think dad sides are you know, compared to what moms have to go through. I mean, I can't say much, you know, because I know what moms have to deal with. Dads are important too, both of us. Yeah, right, Well you don't know what you don't know, yeah, exactly. And the fact that you what you've gone through and that you're coming on this show to share your story is so important to help others so that they say, well, oh goodness, I'm not losing my mind, right, Yeah, yeah, this is. Normal because you don't know that what's normal or not if you're a first time cancer patient and hopefully you'll never be a cancer patient again, but you don't have that experience to draw on, and you sometimes you just feel like I should just be grateful that I'm alive.

1:34:19 Right. Not everybody survives cancer, but you don't have to just survive cancer. You can. Get your life saved by these amazing doctors, and you can also learn how to live again too with this trauma. And can you know the other thing it? Excuse me, pill, No, no, go ahead, go ahead please. I was just thinking as I was saying that that patients needs change over time, and in the beginning, it may be a need for a lot of information and education about what's this journey going to look like and what are the right treatment decisions. But I was sharing with Camille that I stillitate retreats for women with breast cancer, and we generally asked them to come after the hardest part of treatment is done, because that's when people have the psychological wherewithal to ask the question, who am I now?

1:35:14 How has this changed me? How has this not changed me. But those are things that in the middle of treatment, people rarely have the wherewithal to really base those questions. So true, you're in survival mode for sure. Right, Well, it sounds to me, Camille, that supportive cancer care couldn't have come any sooner for you, right, It could have. Definitely I could have used it from day one. Honestly, I could have used from that phone call that I got from my doctor saying that you have breast cancer totally hit me unawares. The biopsy was from my peace of. Mind, I could have used, Hey, and if you need to talk to somebody, I'm going to send you a phone number, because it was eleven days between my diagnosis and my first meeting with the doctor.

1:36:00 So that's great, that's great. So that's great advice. Don't don't delay. Supportive cancer care is available, right, Susan. Yeah, it sure is fatuous, and it's it's dependent upon where a person lives, of course, and in some of our more rural areas it's it's perhaps a little harder to access, but there are more and more televisits available. I mean, we had Doze, the Democrats, the lefties went absolutely nuts. I believe that, in my heart of hearts, I believe that given the support and if the government was really interested in it, which involves the left as much as the right, I think that Elon Musk could have easily found a trillion dollars in fraud. You know, that's one of the great disappointments of the past year, the fact that Doze was not allowed to continue doing what they were doing. I wish Elon could have somehow stayed on. I mean, they were doing such great work, and we got a thirty nine trillion dollar a debt. We've doubled it in the last ten years.

1:42:08 There's there's trillions in fraud, and yeah, jose were on their way. Some good things have happened, but boy, we've got to get got a handle on this. Well, Jeff, you know you're a businessman, and you know how those things work. I mean, in the real life, you know, you've got to produce a result, you got to do something. But anybody that goes to work for our government, they get so frustrated. You've got all this talent there that goes there. I mean, it's a wonder. I'm amazed that Donald Trump puts up with this stuff because you know, it's just like these people in DC, they need therapy. It's not therapy medication. I mean, are they just need to get fired because they wouldn't last five minutes in a corporate position or any job in the real world for putting up with the kind of and promoting the kind of antics that they promote at the cost of their consumers. In this case, we people, right.

1:43:01 Yeah, I mean you just look at the work ethic. I mean, they're never there, they never get anything done. They saw all the lines that people had at the airports recently, they cut to the front. They get all their perks and their privileges and their benefits, and it's disgusting. And they won't get rid of insider trading. They won't get rid of you know, you know, terms, unlimited terms. They won't put limits on their terms. So they're not doing what the people want, and I think, you know, I think there's going to be a wake up call, sadly for some of the Republicans unless we can deliver over the next seven months. Well, the system itself is a mess. It's broken in the least and it continues to produce these kind of results.

1:43:49 You know, you mentioned thirty nine trillion dollars in counting in debt. You know, I've spoken with several top economists and I said, help me understand on that thirty nine trillion dollars, how much is it tied to vote getting And they all admitted they said, probably all of it. You know. So you've got these politicians like you said, yeah, they get to cut in front of the line, they got insider training, and they get tied in with these special groups and everything like that that get government funding, and then some of that government funding comes back into their re election campaigns. That's what makes the wheels on the bus go round and around in DC. And they listen to the special interests, they listen to their donors, they listen to people that have the money, because it's all about the money, and they don't listen to the constituents. I mean, you don't see town hall meetings, you don't see interaction with regular people in their districts.

1:44:41 So they come around during election time, spend a lot of money on ads, claim that they're doing what the people want, and ninety percent of the incombents get re elected even though they never deliver. And the American people are always upset about Congress in general, but they usually re elect their lame and I've been representing them. Well, it's a massive cabal Jeff when you think about it, because it's not only the politicians, but it's the media. The media is all complicit in this whole program. It's like they've had some sort of dark of night blood oath over a burning cross that they made a commitment to one another. Over right, Yeah, I mean the media is dysterilic and don't perform their duty, have no interest in forming the public, have no interest in being fair and balanced.

1:45:30 It is. It's a sad situation. So people are really left on their own trying to figure out what's going on. They don't get much help from those supposedly in the media. I mean, the watchdogs aren't there. So there's some groups, there's some people that do good work, Nick Shirley, people like James O'Keefe, but they are they're few and far between, Bill. And then of course they're attacked in Maligned You know here, Nick Shirley, you know, like you said, reveals what happen up in Minneapolis, and then he goes to California and finds out whoa wait a minute, this thing. It's like this has become a franchise fraud program, right right. And then so I want to give the president credit.

And I mean, if they're allowed to do their work, I mean they could maybe pick up where does a left off and maybe pick up where some of these investigators have uncovered all of this happening and do something about it. I mean, I know Nick Shirley and O'Keefe are not super pleased with the follow up to what they have uncovered, so there needs to be follow up. Bill. Well, look what happened with Dave de Lighton. You know, he was the one that exposed Planned Parenthood right for selling baby parts. I mean even the act of his judges. I mean it's like, okay, do your law fair, but we're just going to keep coming at you. We're going to be resilient and resistant, you know, to all this shenanigans that you do. And the new uh, you know, the replacement for Pam Bondi right now Todd Blench temporarily and they're talking that maybe he's ultimately the guy whatever he needs to come in full force with guns of blaring and don't worry, because hey, you know, you could end up being you know, just like Pam Bondy. You could just be a headline one day and you know, a social media post that you're fired. So it might as well go out blazing, right, Bill, You've.

It's a leadership partnership between you know, Johnson. A good House leader makes for a good Senate leader. Good Senate leader makes for a stronger House leader. And they need to be in tandem.

But I'm certainly looking for more aggressive leadership on both sides. And here's the deal. They keep saying, oh, we've got a very slim majority. Look what happened. Republicans lost their power because they kept promising they were going to do something and they didn't. Right, And I know some people want to blame John McCain, but there's a lot of other people that could have voted to you know, that didn't. It's just John McCain and his you know, his fickled finger thumb, you know, down did us no favors, no doubt.
