You know what you've laid out very simply, and I think people particularly that have been listening to you are getting what's happening is that the government is manipulating the numbers, especially during the Biden Obama years. They create inflation and then they hit you with capital gains for something that they created.

0:50 Absolutely, it is just wrong for the government to create inflation and then tax you on that inflation as if it was a gain, as if it was profit, as if it was income. Yeah. I mean, let's go back to one of the original problems the colonies had, and that was a taxation without representation. I mean, we were on steroids, man, as far as taxes without representation, right, the government finds a way to get into our pockets. And they do it also subtly. But you know, God bless you, Grover Norquist. You're out there, you know, reporting on these and you know, making people realize there's a reason why you have less money in your wallet. Bill.

On people who don't live in New York, who don't vote in New York, but who have an apartment that when they come to visit New York, rather than go to a hotel, they stay at that apartment. Those are people who can never vote against you. What a coward. He's not willing to look at the people in New York in the eye say you guys are paying for this. Yeah. But the only deal is is that he's so far behind Groberg. He can you know, he can text the squirrels out in Central Park and he's still not gonna have enough money to do what he wants to do. Well, I don't know. I think he's gonna make a lot of money with that thirty million dollar government run post office managed grocery store that he has in mind. It's going to take several years to get going. And I'm told it's like down the street from a Costco. So it's not like they don't have food.

2:24 Right, well exactly, but you know, but you think about all those other you know, boutique shops, the mom and pop grocery stores. They're gonna they're gonna put them out of business, and then what's gonna happen? Then then they're just gonna rely If if Costco can weather the storm, then they're just gonna only have Oscar Costco to shop too. Right, yeah, it is almost a joke. I mean, Soviet East European empty grocery stores were the source of much of Ronald Reagan's humor that he got from people who escape from Russia. Right, the guy comes in, Is this a store that doesn't have meat? No, that's across the street. We're the store that doesn't have fish. Yeah, one after another, and everyone in Russia laughs because you know they knew it was painfully true.

3:08 It is that funny. Well yeah, yeah, it almost seems like something out of a Saturday Night Live skit or something, you know, but here it is. I mean the reality. I keep thinking, how long? How long? Does this guy last before you know, the people just say, Okay, enough of this stuff. We know where this is headed. I mean, because it's not like New Yorkers are stupid, are they? That's a good question at different levels of stupid if you look at their political decisions. I mean, people can make very good decisions in their own life because they they know that they want to buy that car and not this car. They know they want to live here and make this decision and have these kids and marry this person, and they can make very wise decisions. But making government decisions, Voting for a person is trying to pick something that may be lying to you about what they can and will do. You don't really have any sense about whether he can magically make the buses be for free. Maybe there's some government program they make the government, you know, make them for free, and so you're it's very difficult for people to make good decisions in their own lives. That's stupid about their own lives. But when they vote about somebody who's going to run other people's lives.

4:22 That's why government should be limited, because it's been a lousy thing to work through for almost everything. Yeah, when it's so big, and complicated that it has become. Uh, they can't even keep up with his stuff. I mean, you know, look what's going on. I mean, the recent hubbub is all about the Southern Poverty Law Center, right, and you know, boy, I'll tell you it's really hitting the fan here that you know, it wasn't that long ago. In fact, we still hear the narrative about South Carolina and then you realize whoa the SPOC. They're supposed to be against this stuff. They fuel the fame, the flame for what happened in South carol Line up. Yeah, this is a group that run arounds and calls all its enemies racists.

5:04 So they they've raised a great deal of money. Their founder, who was there for a long time, had something that was described as a me too problem with women, and I don't know, a lot of people get defamed and everything, but whatever it was was enough that they pushed about. And now they've got some new committee running it. And all they do they attack every group that's right of center. I don't know if they've ever attacked Americans or taxi for them, but they'll get around to it. But they they really go after them and call them racists. And whatnot, and now they were outfunding racist acts that they could bend it out.

5:48 This is you know, it's interesting. And then you hear the Democrats their retaliation on it and claiming that the Trump administration is you know, going after you know they're and you know, again it's all this stuff that you know, they're pointing one finger out and three or coming back at them, because it's like, lest we forget what happened during the Biden years, right, I mean, Biden was on steroids going after anything that was conservative or anything or anyone that supported Donald Trump. Right. I wish President Trump had spent more time and it can still do this, but spent more time talking about how the Biden administration politicized the government. I'm not quite sure.

6:31 I like the word weaponized, and it's supposed to sound cooler. But they weren't out shooting people. They were asking prosecutors to make political decisions to attack people for political reasons. They attacked pro lifers, they attacked various religions. They decided that being a serious Catholic was something that made you suspected. You didn't go to jail for it, but we should look into this sort of thing. It was very, very bad, and there are a lot of people in the FBI who didn't quit and say, this is awful, this is not what I signed up for. The I r S, even going back to. Obama, was thoroughly politicized, targeting people for political reasons. They even leaked the the the i r S data, your tax forms and audits of people they didn't like, and gave it to a gave it to a left wing group that that has never even given it back, nor ben subpoena or any of these stuff. I mean, they they clearly knew who stole it, but there was no effort to actually get the facts out or to punish people.

7:40 It is five years in prison. There's a law. Because Clinton was doing these sorts of things, there's a law five years in prison for leaking somebody's tax returns, and that leaked thousands. He should have rotted in prison the rest of his life. But of course the left wing judges didn't care. Right, exactly well, they even went to the point to where they started doxing these people, right, and they put them on lists and said, hey, are you aware these people are supporting conservative groups? I mean, I don't know what kind of nice term you want to call it, if you don't call it weaponization or whatization? The politicization. Okay, they did, and that's a gregious because why would you do that. You know, you do that in order to take unfair advantage of your opponent politically right, Yes, and.

8:31 They would go after people using antitrust, and they would use the regulatory mechanisms to damage people, threaten people, the permitting process, you can't have it. They've been threatening over the years to go after various people. They didn't like their politics, and so they really shut up a lot of their opponents. You saw the head of Facebook Meta apologized before Trump's third campaign was over, before I got elected for the second time, not after he won, before he won, saying they came and threatened my business. They said, they destroyed my business with their regulatory powers, with antitrust and whatnot if he didn't do what they.

I've never been mad at Google for censoring when you've discovered and met, when you discovered that the federal government was threatening them that they didn't do X, Y and z, they would take them apart. Grover, you know, as you say, the politization of our country, the size of government, this animosity, this incivility that's taking place. That was quite interesting last week with you know, with one of the justices speaking out against progressivism and how it's antithical to our constitution. And this is what I think is being realized, is that, you know, like what you and I have been talking about in the recent months is that it's either pro American or it's anti American.

14:54 Is it pro constitution? Is it anti constitutional? And hopefully we're at that point, maybe we've had enough fight in it to realize the ridiculousness of some of these things that we've been fighting about. That we're not getting closer, if anything, were being pulled further apart. Well, yes, and this goes back to Woodrow Wilson. I mean he wrote study articles and studies and his PhD thesis that maybe he didn't write, but anyway, he wrote all this stuff down where he basically said, you know, the Constitution gets in the way of the government and. All the power I wanted to wheel.

15:34 Uh. And Chris Cox, former congressman from California, brilliant guy, brilliant writer in addition being a great congressman, wrote a book on Woodrow Wilson which pointed out his deep racism. And it's really disgusting that the liberals make him, you know, always me wonderful when they knew how racist he was and his thinking and everything. But he also wanted to use the government to push people around, tell them what they could couldn't do. And that's where they talked about the living Constitution, which allows you to ignore the existing constitution, right, and that these words no longer mean what they meant originalism meant, which is what conservatives talk about, is when they wrote it down, what did they mean them? And if the word has changed its meaning in one hundred years, you don't go I guess, you know, Oxford decided to change the meaning of a word or common usage that you know, bad means good, you know, those sorts of things.

16:32 Words can change like that. That does not change the Constitution. Although the left has been trying very hard. That's where they're in such a panic that they've lost the Supreme Court on principle and they don't see how they get it back. Well, the way they say it getting back, if you listen to you know, carvill and you know, Chuck Schumer and the rest of them, is that you get power in the midterms and then you arts, you know, you go up to thirteen justices, you add Puerto Rico, and you add we got Puerto Rico, and then yeah, so yeah, all of a sudden, yeah, and just start, you know, adding more states and getting a stronger representation and a stranglehold by one party. And I'll tell you, you know, again, we go back to what Ronald Reagan said, you know, our Democratic Republican, our liberty is one generation away, and here we are. You know, a lot of the young kids have been indoctrinated by these professors, these liberal professors, and they don't know the history. And it's interesting that right now we're coming to our two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, and you know, there's some great movies out there that are reminding us of our heritage and how it all started, and you know the critical you know, decision points that were made by the colonists early on, and how they all put it on the line, and you know, in a way, it's kind of you know, we're seeing this

18:03 demonstrated in Iran, where the people are realizing that, you know, liberty is worth dying for, and already over eighty thousand people have died for the sake of liberty and they're close to, you know, finally achieving that if Donald Trump and the military can finish the job there. It's very sad what's happened over the years too Iran. The left, you know, didn't care when the shop fell and what he fell to. I mean, it's one thing to say, maybe you shouldn't have a show, maybe you shouldn't have it donecrcically elected country, but that's different from what they were talking about. They really needed to go to freedom.

18:48 Right well exactly, and they've learned it, you know, through experience Grover, which is you know, really the American colonists did as well, I mean what they experienced in Europe and then coming here to the United States, and it was like, you know, let's start with a clean sheet of paper. Let's if you wanted to have a government. What kind of government would you really want? And of course it freaked out the rest of the people around the world because all of a sudden they go, well, no, we don't want a king. You know. George Washington even said I don't want to be king, So we don't want a king. We want we want the people to be king. What about that? How about if we turned the org chart upside down and we'll make we the people in charge? Oh my goodness. It freaked all these totalitarianistic regimes nuts because well, how dare you do that? Right?

19:31 Yeah, And we were America, and Americans even before the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. We came over and the king didn't show up with We came over and they we didn't have dukes and counts and viceroys and all this stuff. We just nobody needed it. I don't understand why the guys in Europe weren't scared of the idea of a successful, large possible cun tree part a large part of England would exist and didn't bring over state run church and allowed people to basically not one hundred percent.

20:12 They weren't very nice to Catholics sometimes. But mostly they and then people were people could be Catholics. But in Maryland, not in Massachusetts. So but but but there was a real movement towards religious liberty. It's not as good as robust as we like now, but and they just and they dropped a lot of that silly European kings and queens and rascalions and all that. And then when we got go and we didn't set up the big fancy government when we were colonists and until nineteen thirteen, Americans paid about two percent of their income and taxes. London was paying people in London Brits twenty percent two percent, And we were growing faster, more people, more kids, more economy growing because we didn't have a government sitting on top of it and living off other people's lives.

I think part of the problem the English had and the King had is that, you know, going back to your earlier point, the government was so big and complex and they're going I don't have time to deal with these crazy colonists. You know, if we can't send the military over there and bring them, you know, to fall in line, well then you know, I'm not in for you know, a long ordeal here, right. Oh yeah, they got worn down. They thought it was going to be easy to bring back. But there just really was support in the States for in the colonies to say, we're out. We're at different people. We aren't you, we aren't Europe. I run into Europeans all the time. We think that the United States is just Europe moved west.

21:48 We're all the people who didn't want to be part of Europe. Okay, I think we're not you. We're yeah, yeah, and thank god we're not you. And maybe you're grateful that we're not you, because as otherwise we would be defending your nation like you on a little bit of money, as opposed to all the support that we've been giving to NATO and doing everything they can, particularly in the middle of this Iran war that we're in. I know, they're not supposed to call it a war. What are we calling it a conflict or something? Still sure about it, whatever, you know, but yes, but you know, America and the American taxpayer are carrying the weight here for Iran, for the Middle East, for Europe. Grover absolutely all over Britain because I've been seeing their newspapers and so on. It's been covered something that we've known in the United States for some time that if Britain were to become a state, people in Britain were pulled and said, would Britain be like which would it be the top or the bottom or where would it be compared to the other states, And they thought, on average it'd be the seventh richest state if Britain came over.

And they don't even pay for defense, Okay, they spend like percent of GDP, maybe two percent of GDP on defense and their front line on the Soviets for decades, so Ellens, if Germany, Germany became a state, they would be the fiftieth, they would be above Mississippi for the next three years. Mississippi's growing and Germany.

This game with Iran is quite the game of chess on multiple playing boards. Huh it is that? And boy, it is shifting sentiments.

29:08 I know when the ceasefire went through, and then we heard the I guess the Foreign Minister of Iran announced that the straight of horror moves is open. Come on through, you know, wave from the shore as you go by with oil and all sorts of other goods. And then twenty four hours later, the Revolutionary Guard comes in and says, excuse me, the straight orbor moves is closed. Please ignore all previous reports to the contrary. And I think what's really happening is, rather than a country like this, where you've got Pete Hegseth and Marco Rubio getting along and working together. Over there, you've got the head of the Revolutionary Guard Corps and the form Minister Approllate loggerheads and maybe not just having policy differences, but maybe once got a gun to the other's head. And there's I think a real power struggle to see who's going to run that country. And the revolution Guard's got guns and I don't think the four Ministry does. So we can guess who's on top of the top of that wrestling match.

30:00 That could be a short lived coup, right possible. I mean, if you got a bit between hardened military fighters and diplomats, I think I'd probably put my money in the hardened military fighters. Right exactly, even though they may be broke right now with all them, I think what Donald Trump is doing, I mean, gosh, de Roy I was thinking about this, the amount of pressure this president is under. I mean, he's trying to negotiate peace. He's got Democratic apparatics like Murphy and you know hackem Jefferies and the whole band of democratic knuckleheads nipping at his heels, giving giving narrative and publicity and encouragement to our enemy. And then of course, you know, you got the you got the media going, and then he's got to balance out, you know, the rest of public opinion that has been controlled by the mainstream media where ninety five percent of what they're reporting on is negative and it's manipulative. Then it's gas lighting.

31:01 And then, by the way, you've got the neighboring Arab nations that have a say in all this. And I mean, what a balancing act that he's doing. I can't. I mean, thank god it's Donald Trump doing it, that's all, because I don't know of anybody else that can handle this many pieces on the board all at the same time. Yeah, he's juggling a whole lot at once. I mean, just and strictly, not even from the mental prowess and strategy standpoint, but just the physical energy it takes. You know, if you've had a president like GW. Bush, I think he's sleep eight to ten hours a night. I mean, you're just disengaged completely in so many of these things. Luckily he sleeps through four hours a night of that, and he's pretty much you know, on point twenty one, twenty two hours a day. We're very lucky to have somebody with that much energy in the Oval Office. But as you say, you've got the trying to do with the European diplomats, secure Starmer not stepping up, and can we use this NATO base or not use that NATO base.

31:57 And you've got the people in the Middle East who generally cooperative, the Saudis and Katari's and the United Arab Emirates people have been very cooperative with Cesareil obviously has been as well, although I think we've had to reign in the Israelis a little bit, has ballads and so forth. And then you've got the domestic side of things with people like you said, you say a center of Murphy of Connecticut. I think there was something coming out about I think X number of boats Apparently somehow we're able to get past the military blockade, and his response was quote awesome unquote wow amazing. So he's actually rooting for people, rooting for ship captains who are able to certain navigate the US Navy. I would think this is another kind of thing that Democrats would root for in the middle of a hot, shooting warm But here we are so this is you know, I think this is borderline trees.

32:48 And when people behave like this, giving aid comfort to our enemies at a time of war, it's truly disturbing. And again this is further proof that this is not your your grandma and Grandpa's Democratic. Party, right exactly, And you know, to think about what it does to encourage. You know, the i r GC, absolutely, I mean, it certainly makes them exactly if they if they see people on Capitol Hill, you know, essentially rooting for them and think, hey, we've got friends in Washington's let's keep it up, rather than oh, we've got a united front against us. You know, the Republicans hate us, the Democrats hate us. Everyone hates us, so we don't really feel like fighting anymore. I mean, this sort of thing just pumps them up, and let's make them go out there and you know, continue to militate against us and prepare to launch rockets at us.

That's been extended for a couple of days. I don't think the patience is unlimited, maybe a couple of days to see if the Radians will come and come forward with then actual diplomatic proposal.

You've got the ira GC, uh, you know, the diplomatic team, the political guys going. They they have a discussion with JD. Vance and uh and Wig Cough and you know, and the and the. President Kher Jared kush Kushner. Yeah yeah, and they yeah, okay, this sounds good. And then the ira GC said, I don't think so. So they rip up everything. So it's like, okay, okay, we spent all that time, twenty one hours, twenty two hours of negotiation, and all of a sudden they got fleshed down on the toilet. Well then look at Bring and this would drive Nut Trump nuts because he's a negotiator.

You know, they're just you know, drawing this out for as long as they can, and just hoping that there's enough maybe political pressure, or that America will do what it traditionally does, and that is that it will fold its tent. Yeah. Well, and that's what obviously they're hoping for. And in the meantime, it's just that much more difficult to figure out who's actually charging that. You know, used the example earlier, if somebody negotiated a peace agree with Marko Rubio and everything on the funky dory, and all of a sudden, Pete Except comes in, goes what peace treaty, tears it up, and you know, opens the fire on that country. I mean, that would be pretty much the American analog to what's happening over there. So it's and of course we're pretty transparent here. You've got some idea of who's doing what. You have press conferences, you've got press secretaries, all sorts of public information. I think that Iran is sort of I think the Veiled Women is almost like a metaphor for what that country is. Like, God only knows what they're doing, who's in charge, what they're up to. I mean, they're normally pretty mysterious, but after all the bombing and whatnot. It's also very hard for them to communicate with each other because they're all, you know, the ones who are not dead are no onees who arelive are probably hiding out in the caves and bunkers and you know, one hundred feet underground, et cetera.

But as I say, with all of these factions there, I'm not sure that there's any one direct purpose. There can be multiple, multiple agendas playing themselves out in Iran. I don't think that's in charge of clear to us yet. Well, I think you could probably put your chips on the IRGC and the ideologues of the IRGC. There might be some members there because they haven't been paid. I mean, you know, so they're feeling the squeeze of what Trump has been able to do and shut down and interrupt operations there in the strait of horror moves. I mean, you know, losing five hundred million every day. You know that that can you know, cause some pain inflation is up over one hundred percent for them since this war began.

And also, these people are not just ideologically driven by you know, some philosophy or some interesting political theory book they might have read in college. Uh. And if that's the kind of attitude you have, it's a little hard to sit down and say, okay, well where's the fifty percent marker? Where where do we split the difference here? And we've known that, you know, the divide, you know, for the Muslims is between Sunni and Shia, and the Shia are you know, they're the ones they believe. This is all part of the process for the Madi to come back in So They're not going to give up the ship easily. This is why, you know, they have the level of commitment that they have and why I believe that you you got to go take them out, you know, to the final breath. You can't because they will reconstitute. I mean, they're like cockroaches. They'll find another head to put on.

Why why the Ranians wrapped up? Why they're so fast the uranium? And I didn't know most these figures, but uranium two thirty five in nature is zero point seven percent purity. When you run an atomic power plant that's three to five percent. Highly enriched uranium is twenty percent pure. The Iranians have foreigners sixty kilograms that tu moved out, roughly about half a ton approximately of uranium enriched to sixty percent. That's twelve times more than you need to run a peaceful atomic energy plant. And then once you get to ninety percent your weapons grade, they only need to do one percent more at turning in the center future just to get from six percent to ninety. So these people are very close to where they can get weapons grade uranium, and I don't trust them with that.

And I have that stuff sitting around waiting for them to think of something clever to do with weapons grade uranium, which obviously can be used to either create atomic bombs or dirty bombs, or just take the stuff and throw it up in the air. We can't have that, and that's all the reason to put an end to this, wrap this up and send these people to go meet olive. That's really what they want to do. The bad guys who have gone under cover into hiding for all of that bombing period, they're now coming out, and we're able, through human intelligence and satellites to spot them, mark them, and then we're able to follow that person's body wherever they go for the next few weeks. Well, if we go back to hostilities, this tweet on X pointed out, right, we now know exactly where all those guys are, and we can go and take them out with precision drone strikes on the next layer of leadership of Iran. And I think that's a really interesting possibility.

And suddenly they're getting intelligence instant into that because of this move. Well, instantly I thought oil is going to soar again. It went up all four or five percent this morning. You know, WTI Texas, that's the best measure for us. It's at you know, eighty eight dollars, all right, eighty four on Friday. But in September twenty twenty three, during Biden, yes, WTI was at almost was it eighty nine dollars in change It was higher than even in a war. So you know, it's all relative. It's just that the media and the opposition like toocus on the whip end of things and then say, oh my gosh, it's a crisis. There's no crisis here, and the stock market knows that the stock

They call themselves the Peacock for Progressive Caucus, and it's four members of the Democrats Socialists of America.

And he points out that the only people coming there are great grandparents moving in to see their grandkids because their grown children are unable to leave the state, unable to leave the city because they can't, they'll take a loss on their home and they can't, you know, or their business can't move.

And the good thing though, and the thing that makes me hope, and the reason why I'm rushing this book out because it's ripped from the headlines, is that the people. Are rising up in Oregon. They have had enough, you know, and they're getting some backbone they needed. I think it was one hundred and seventy eight thousand signatures on a ballot proposal. Oregon was the first state in the country to actually come up with a ballot proposal put her on a ballot in like the eighteen I don't know, eighteen fifties or something, And so they wanted this on the ballot proposal. And yet they can do crazy things with ballot proposals. Bill, They're the ones who basically decriminized all hard drugs just because of a voter ballot proposal. And now they've got this new one for animal rights, give the rights against cruelty for your cat and dog at home, and granted to cows, pigs, chickens, frogs, fish, which basically would mean they would take a ranching practice, castration of bulls, artificial semination, and reclassify it as sexual assault against these animals. They would require only a girls who who stand in the ring have to have a place to stay with a certain square footage and exercise space. And this is not intended to protect animals at all. Built it is intended to put ranching, farming, fishing out of business.

1:14:39 And then what's going to be left in this. Yeah, what's left is social services. You know, Oregon and Portland have some of the highest rates of NGOs in the entire country. In fact, Oregon has more employees working for nonprofits than it has working for all local governments combined. Explains everything. Incredible power playing so much right there, Yes, doesn't it. That's their worldview and that's what they continue to promote. And meanwhile, you know, the city is going to hell in a handbasket, and the people are just I mean, what are they thinking. I mean, they're just like, okay, I mean, maybe it's just not as bad as we think it is or what.

1:15:19 Well, for one thing, you know, there is a Portland Polite an Oregon nice protocol. You don't criticize in public, you don't come out and call it out. This is a case of the Emperor's close with cars across an entire state. That's one thing, but also there's retaliation. Political Democrat operative Kevin Looper joined with a Republican operative for People for Portland to start coming out with some proposals to fix some of the things going wrong there. And they went on local television promoting this creation of this group. And that night Kevin Looper tells me the Democrat operative the windows of his car were shot out by a gun as it was parked in front of his home.

1:16:05 And so there's retaliation that happens. You know. Cheerful Amy, Cheerful Amy Nichols I think is her name? Yes, who is the owner of the Cheerful Bullpen and the Cheerful Tortoise sports bars? You know she was every time she dares to go public with criticism or go on Fox News or something Fox Business complaints follow against her business. The health inspector shows up to try to make trouble for her. I'm sitting there interviewing her and there's a health inspector guy wearing one of these you know, hipster knit caps. And shorts and big old boots and. Socks, and he's at the taps and he's investigating and she says they were just here six weeks ago and I got one hundred grade out of one hundred. But they're back now because I'm scheduled to go on Fox Business tomorrow morning. So the kind of retaliation that happens if you dare be a renegade and speak up and tell the truth is very real.

Dennis is like, you know, and I've been saying for a long time, We've become the Ununited States of America, and it's like, what is it going to take? I mean, is it just does the pain have to be so severe that the people finally, you know, stick their heads out the window and say, I'm fed up and I'm mad as hell and can't I can't stand this anymore? Right. I was surprised how much this metaphor came up, and that two dozen people are so officials and politicians and business owners and leading lights and regular folks that I interviewed there, and they feel quite a few of them said right now. Oregon Portland in particular, is like that alcoholic or drug addict that doesn't doesn't reform won't fix his life until he truly hits rock bottom. They're not there yet, but they sure are trying to get there.

1:17:49 They're on the way unless the people rise up and do something about it. Do you imagine how many states we're talking about that are, you know, on the same trajectory, Dennis. Right, it's a good dozen. And some of them are swing states, aren't they? I don't know? But yeah, But here's the thing. It's not going to stop here, all right. This push towards this relentless liberalism, this ridiculous focus on moral intent instead of actual outcomes, will continue and expand so long as we let it, unless the people stand up and fight back and make themselves heard and call out the craziness. You know, in Oregoner's Bill, I talk about this experiment in the nineteen seventies.

1:18:29 They planted regular people, including some psychiatrists and psychologists, as fake patients and mental hospitals. They wanted to see if the experts could identify sanity in an insane environment. They were utterly unable to do. So, Okay, that's how Orgon is now. They've been living with such insanity for so long that they're no longer able to even recognize something, saying to come in and try to fix it. That's incredible. I can't believe that. Well I can believe it. I mean, you know, you think about it because you get so ideologically fixed, as Jordan Peterson says, you render yourself stupid. So here's these professionals whose job is to be able to identify Heck, we got a Supreme Court justice can't even identify a woman. I mean, this is how much we've lost our mind. I mean, it's also why, Dennis, I mean, at the end of the day, this is a government up for by we the people. Why the Save Act is so critical. I mean, if you're going to have the consent of the government, and you're going to hear the voice of the people, and the people, you know, regain their rightful position in this government. Their vote has to count, does it not.

1:19:33 It has to count, and you have to actually make some reforms. In Oregon, political donations are unlimited. Unions gave Governor Tina Kotek, the Democrat who won in twenty twenty two, something like five or six million dollars of I think a twenty million dollar total, more than any other single group and these are government unions whose government employees are given more money and more retirement benefits. They have a retirement pension benefit for public employees, a crisis facing the state now, and then the unions take some of that money from the dues, They get higher dues from more members and pump it back into the campaigns and the politicians who are giving them the higher contracts. The four point two billion dollar ten year tax increase in Oregon that Governor Tina Kotek pushed through, I had several people tell me that's a gift to the SEIU.

You know, Oregon loves being first bill, So let Oregon become the first state to ban government worker union contributions to the politicians who fund their contracts. They should do that, just like even. At the federal level. But they're not going to do it because that's what makes the wheels on the bus go round and round. Yes, money, you follow the money, and it's right in the back pocket of these politicians. And I had a source tell me that a few weeks ago. It was in the fall. He said, look, earlier this week, the SEIU union brought a thick document, this is your two year budget to the governor's office for the state and said, this is your budget and that's where the governor's office starts from, is from the budget headed to it by the Union. Just incredible that there's a cap coming on. Oh, in twenty twenty seven, we're going to set a cap. But it's like thirteen thousand dollars contribution. It's thirty five hundred at the federal level for Congress.

But this year it's not just about closets and kitchen drawers. As you write, it's also time to tackle the mess we can't see our digital right. Yes, we have digital dust bunnies to Bill. Yeah, I love I love that that you refer to them as digital dust bunnies. So you know what those are. Bill. Basically, those are your screenshots that you save, your duplicate photos, your old files, your apps that you have no idea what they're used for, and uh and your inbox flood with emails that we keep. Those are our digital dust bunnies.

1:26:36 Out of sight, out of mind. We don't think about them, but they're really costing us, like uh, anxiety and. Money, right, and plus it gets in the way of our own efficiency because you know they're there and you get kind of used to them, but you you you're looking for something you need to access, but then you've got to you know, traverse all these dust bunnies are in the way. So clearing out that storage is you know, going to like you say, you open your phone. It's loaded with stuff that in and of itself is very anxiety prone and pain for storage is costing us all money.

1:28:34 So we just need to take that first step. You know, Spring cleaning doesn't happen in a day. You go closet by closet, room by room. Same thing with cleaning your digital home. Maybe Friday is the day where you're going to clean out your photos. Now, you're not going to clean out all. Your photos, You've got probably tens of thousands of them, but you can take ten fifteen minutes and work on your screenshots, start the duplicates, you know, go little by little and you'll make headway for sure. Right Well, and I like the idea that you say, set aside fifteen minutes, you know, fifteen minutes, nice little chunk, But you'd be surprised what you can get done. So how about some shortcuts? What are some shortcuts that we can use to clean up some of these dust bunnies?

Well, as I said, you can go like Monday could be your old file day again, take twenty minutes, go through those files that you haven't used in five years, start deleting. When stay is your inbox day. That might take a little bit more time, but start start, you know, maybe dropping or canceling some things, and also just start like eliminating those emails that you got, you know, four years ago. It just is baby steps. We obviously have anxiety about deleting information. I think we could store, We think we could store unlimited amount of information and it's not going to affect us. Well, it affects us on multiple levels truly, and especially the pocketbook who wants to pay for all the storagage so you can store twelve of the same pictures of one photo.

You know, when you go on on all these apps, a spring right on your you know, on your phone or whatever, and you're and you're just like scrolling through, wondering, I've never used that thing? Why, what is it? And why is it there? So I think if we just make a concerted effort, it'll. Give us some breathing space. I'll bring us some peace. And also, as I said, the wallet too. Yeah, what is it, barb about our humanity? I mean, we're pack rats. It seems like by nature. Yes, we have storage facilities, I mean our home and our garage is and enough anymore. Now we got to go out and rent you know, a building, you know, a storage facility a couple hundred and three hounds a month, which is ridiculous. And then now you know, we're doing the same thing with our our digital components, I.

You know what, Bill, I think it's hard for us to take the first step, but once we do it, like once we clean out a closet and get rid of the clothes we haven't worn two years. Once we like put them in that bag and bring them to you know, a charity center or whatever. We don't think about it. Then two days later it's on a sign out of mind. It's gone. But it's taking that first step, you know. It's it's just making the first move that's the toughest, because once we do it, we don't miss it. You know, it's gone. It's it's out. Same with deleting our files, deleting extra data we don't need. Once it's gone, you're never going to think about that again.

1:32:39 But it's just taking that first step is a difficult thing. But I agree, yes, exactly. Right now, you had a survey a lot we've been talking about. You're referencing, you know, a survey that was taken about how Americans are managing their digital storage. What did the survey tell us? We're saving two more pack rats. We are way overly just saving so much useless information. Maybe I mentioned this, but sixty percent of us said that we'd rather wash dishes than delete any information. Twenty percent said we'd rather go to the dentist than delete things.

That are uncomfortable, that we're unsure of, that we just don't know exactly if we want to do this thing, which is for us, it's deleting information that we'll never see again. But you know, I think it's it's the hesitancy. And I think also Bill, the big deal for me was, oh, really the cloud isn't just someplace out there, that it really is taking up space in a physical building. Then I think that should open up our eyes and give us more of an incentive to clean house, you know, because they're being housed in a real building, Like this is not just in outer space, you know.

One of the first things I go to as I go to the Word of God, saying, okay, where where is this in the Word of God? And uh? And you you see clearly there are four distinct prophecies that said this was going to happen. Now, what I am praying for is that you know, Donald Trump America is in alignment with what God's intention is. Yeah, and of course you know, because God's will will be done regardless.

Because what will happen in all this is that when Iran is settled and there seems to be peace in the Middle East, it'll quiet down for a minute, Okay, because what will happen is even Israel, as the Bible says, will be at peace and there's no walls, okay, so all its enemies will calm down until all of a sudden, then the next signs and the next chapter comes in, where the nations, uh you know,

America Reads the Bible National Scripture Reading event and movement led by Christians, engaged in our friend Bunny Pounds, who has been on the show with us many times and she's really champion this cause and assembled quite a cast of people to come in and read the Bible, including the President. And I don't know how you do it without, you know, not being connected to His word, which is definitely Bible. And that's that's the thing. And I think when we talk about God's will, the other thing we have to do, I think address bill is God's will is not some gnostic secret that is difficult to discover, right His will is revealed in Christ and we're invited into relationship with Him.

And I think for me it comes down to am I open to what to receiving what God has for me? Or am I grasping it on my own terms, you know, or what I think I want? And for me, that growth process is just this constant interaction of oh I'm afraid or oh I'm giving into the wrong impulses and I grab right right. And you know, Corey Tenboom said something to the effect of, you know, come to God with open hands because it hurts when he has to pry your fingers off things. That's a horrible paraphrase, but that's the spirit of it. And I think that each time we go through that cycle, we have an opportunity to be reminded of God's character. He is good, he is loving, he is wise, and he invites us into relationship with him, and he invites us into remarkable things that he's doing, you know, and we get to have a part in that.

Doesn't anchor everybody, but still, you know, for a remnant And I would say, you know, even based on polling, you know, sadly those numbers keep declining because we have bought into a narrative, a cultural narrative, a modernistic narrative that says, oh, the truth is relative. Oh really, well, you know, there's another life from the devil, because the devil wants us to dis anchor to disconnect from God and the truth of God.

Sometimes I beat my head against the wall. And God's like, all right, how long you're going to beat your head against the wall trying it your way? Right before you again realize that my way is better. And not only is it better, it's just it's the best way. It's not that differs bewing better and best, it's best and beat your head against the wall.
